Finally right? Jurong Point 2 is like so near my house and has opened for a few days before I finally went there today. Hahaha. OMG. I must say Jurong Point is coming more like an Orchard (for bangalas, or foreign workers), because you can find almost all the fanciful shops that you usually see in Orchard area. Of cos, there are common shops like Pretty Fit, Noda, Vana, Dano (which are located in BOTH new and old JP), Pepper Plus (which are located in BOTH new and old JP as well) etc. What about JP is, there is a lot of SHOES shops and BAGS shops around. There is Starbucks, Coffee Bean or McCafe you can choose from if you wanna rest your feet. It feels like I can shop at JP for my CNY clothes without going to town this coming year! How cool can it be? And there is 2.5th floor (why did I say that was because this floor is BETWEEN the 2nd and 3rd floor and somehow the management says it’s the 3rd floor.) which is the food corner. Like street food, desserts and some restaurants. What’s even better is, there is a FairPrice Xpress (which is not open yet) that opens 24hrs and guess what? It’s located at the 2.5th floor. LOL. And basement, there is a newly open Burger King, New York New York, Ding Tai Fung, ThaiExpress and some others that some you can only see in town are all in JP! And if you want shops that relates to beauty, there is too! Like New York Skin Management, Skin Food, Yun Nam, The Face Shop and others. And there is a new bookstore called Harris, not much interesting books I think. Kino or Borders are still the best choice. =] And there is this Stationary Island that sells interesting stationaries which really attracts me. Hahaha. And the basement have shops like Mini Toons, Action City and other toy stores. Fashion stores like M)phosis are opened in JP too! Interesting and some boring. Of course if you were to go JP like EVERYDAY soon or later you will get so bored of it. But to me, JP is not a place you will get lost yet. It’s not officially opened cos there are some places which are still under renovation or waiting to be fill up. Whatever it is, take some of your time and explore the new JP!
