Aaron Kwok’s Concert

Alright man! We went for Aaron Kwok‘s concert (complimentary tickets from Lawrence) tonight and it’s really happening (despite me not understand most of the Cantonese songs that he sang)! The concert lasted for 3 hours!

I met up with Teck Yong and Alvin at about 6p.m for dinner before heading to Indoor Stadium for the concert. So we went to Old Airport Rd Hawker Centre for dinner. It’s my first time there, and I guess it might the last time too. Hahaha.

And then we headed to the Indoor Stadium for the concert! It’s been a while since I last watched a concert, and I think the last one was Jay Chou’s concert (which was last janurary!). And because he sang cantonese songs in the beginning of the concert and during the concert, he converse using cantonese, Arene has to do some translation for me because I don’t really understand. Ha!

What amazes me in the concert was the 360 degrees (which he said was 450 degrees because his mandarin is not very good) turning stage! This was import in fro Hong Kong. And it’s really cool loh. You gotta be there to experience the atmosphere. And, I really love the stage! OMG.

And of course I did took some pictures from the concert and did some recording of his most popular mandarin songs. =]

He was playing the piano and singing at the same time. After the song, he claimed that he can’t play piano for hell and he learn this song just for this concert to show his sincerity. How touching.

After that he sang his 1st chinese song that was so popular when I was still young. Have you got it right? Yes, the title is 对你爱不完! Oh man, and the popular dance steps which I bet even the younger generation also know one loh.

And of course, as an audience, when the concert ends you have to shout “ENCORE” loudly so that the singer will return to the stage and sing us more songs, which he did. He was giving his little speech which was so funny (I mean, everything that he say sounds funny to me)

And then when he came back for the 1st encore, he sang another famous song. Have you got it? Para Para Sakura~~

and one more nice song, which I don’t know the title.

After these 2 songs, we thought it was over and was about to walk away then we heard shouting and we hurried back. So he sang 2 more songs.

Sorry peeps if the quality sucks. Because all these are taken using my Nokia hp. =P And it’s time to sleep now! Good night people~

Dinners

Woooohoooo! Maybe I should just do some update on the places I have been to these few days. I am referring to places where I have not been to for delicious food. And of course, some just suck lah.

From Drop Box

First, I went to Xin Wang TAIWAN Cafe (Citylink) for dinner. And they don’t allow photography of their food and menu. What a big time disappointment. I was told by one of the staff there when I was taking pictures of their menu because I find it cute. And the waiting time for MY food is a little long (perhaps I was too hungry to wait), and I guess I just don’t like to eat so much mee sua.

I went to White Dog Cafe (Vivo City). Was there once before with Darling to celebrate her birthday. Ordered some snacks and soups which I think it’s good. But when my Aglio Olio came, I was a little disappointed. Because it doesn’t taste like one. Other than that the atmosphere is not too bad.

Wooooohooooo! Decided to go Jack’s Place for dinner because I haven’t been there before. So I went to the one at Bugis with Wilson after work. Ordered a N.Z Ribeye steak for myself because the U.S Ribeye eye is out of my budget. Not too bad considering I ordered a cheaper version of the ribeye (medium) for myself. Heehee.

That’s all for now folks. I am sure I will go places where I have not been to before soon. LOL.
