I meant to update my blog last night, but by the time I am done with some collages for the pictures I took since Thursday, it was running late already. Nontheless, I promised myself to update my wonderful birthday treat!

On Thursday (19.11.2009), I went to meet up with Evelyn and Kerine because it’s been a long time since I last met up with them. And of course, since we haven’t meet for such a long while, I felt the distance between us (and of course, Evelyn and Kerine does hang out every other days) because it felt like, I don’t really understand what they are saying or what they are laughing. And by the time dinner was being served was 9plus p.m already! Late isn’t it? Because I was on afternoon shift last week. Nontheless, I had my favorite sashimi and sushi. Dearest came along too! Because I wanna intro my Dearest to my secondary school friends. I know he’s doing his best to be as friendly as possible. Appreciate that. After that we have to head home because it was late already.

Alright! Now we are talking about a day closer to my birthday (20.11.2009)! I have dated my closed and best friends out. That would be: Alicia, Rebecca, Amy (but she couldn’t make it because she decided to attend her company D&D..), my Elder sister! And of course baby Alyssa came along! My sister commented that the main lead of the day isn’t me, it’s the baby! Haha. Doesn’t matter lah. I am always cam whoring. =]

We went to Suki-Ya @ Marina Square for dinner partly because I know Dearest have cravings for that for the longest time. And, I love shabu shabu! My sister was late because she was held up at work. So after eating for close to 2 hours, we settled the bill and head off. Me and Dearest head back to his house to put our stuffs, slack a little. Persuade him to show me my birthday present. LOL. And I got a red handbag from Kate Spade. Thanks Dearest! After opening up my birthday present, we went to Tiong Bahru to meet up with Gavin and Co for movie, 2012. Which I find it a little boring other than the graphics part. Ok, I was actually thinking.. why would people kept thinking about the end of the world? God will led the way. For He’s the truth and light in my life. =D Hahaha. And and and! I just wanna say it out loud that, I love my friends for coming! Thanks people!

On the actual day of my birthday (21.112009), we are supposed to go to the toy museum with Alicia. But I woke up slightly later, so I smsed Alicia that I would be late. And then Dearest’s mother asked if we would wanna have some lunch first. So, I thought of grabbing some bites and head off to meet Alicia, but before I could do that Alicia called. So I told her that Dearest was still having his food (because I already finished mine). She sounded angry and told me she wants to head home. I tried to persuade her to wait for a little while, but she insisted on going home. When I called her and SMS her, she didn’t reply at all. I was really scare she will be angry with me for a long time. I promise I will not nuah again. Sorry DARLING! Dearest and me went ahead to go for a walk at city hall because I decided not to go toy museum without Darling. And then I got a call from my lil’ sister that I am supposed to bring my bro to see a doc (which I have informed my elder sister to bring him on my behalf) but because little Alyssa didn’t slept for the whole night.. my sister was unable to help. So I have to head home and bring my brother to bukit butok chinese medicine center. Brought him to Mcdonld’s too. After that, Dearest and me head to Madarin Oriental Hotel for our international buffet! It’s really sweet of him to plan such wonderful event for me. =]

After dinner, we went to meet Wenjie and Peining (because her birthday is just a day after mine!) at Marine Square and Gavin + Erica came to meet us shortly. After so much consideration, we went to Dempsy Road for a drink while counting down to Peining’s birthday and the end of my birthday! Haha.

In reel life, when someone is admitted to A&E, the next scene would be the ward they are in; which takes a minute.

In real life, when someone is admitted to A&E, the next scene would be the ward they are in; after a few hours of waiting.

My lil’ sister woke me up today and told me that my ah ma has to be admitted to the hospital (as advised by the doctor in the polyclinic). As per last visit to the hospital, which was on the 15th Nov, her sodium level is low, blood pressure is low and the red blood cell count is low. Thus the doctor in the polyclinic advised her to stay at the hospital till she gets better. But as usual, my ah ma refused to. And after my elder sis’s persuasion, she obliged. You know these days old people can be as stubborn as a bull. So I decided to take half day leave to accompany my Daddy and Ah Ma.

We reached NUH at about 11.50a.m, I helped Ah Ma to do some registration and the nurse pushed her in to do some blood test. The doctor told us the result would be out in about 2 hours time. And at 12.55noon, the nurse called me and told me that they just completed her blood test and what we have to do now is to W A I T. I don’t think we have much options. So I have to call Lawrence at 3p.m when my Ah Ma’s blood test result was still not released. Lawrence told me to take whole day leave today. So I continue to wait till the doctor call me at 3.45p.m about the blood test result. And the last step was to wait for my Ah Ma to be pushed into the a ward. So we have wait for a bed availablity. And my relative say: “Aiyah, no choice one. NUH is really popular.”. Ok, being ‘popular’ is not an excuse for being so slow. So that was another 2 hours before we finally see Ah Ma at her ward. So I was at the hospital since 11.50a.m till 9p.m. Oh well. I have to wait, because she’s my grandmother who watch me grow. So she talked about my boyfriends. She don’t really like the previous boyfriends I had previously, because they were really small build compared to the other guys. And my Ah Ma says, this current boyfriend of mine, is better (boyfriend, you don’t read this liao and start to hao lian hor), but personality else, I have to find out myself. But I have total trust in my Dearest. =]

My cute little niece come to visit Ah Ma as well. And she can speak Pa Pa, Ma Ma.. or something like that. And… she seems to like TOM YUM SOUP. LOL.

Meet up with Darling and Michelle last Thursday for dinner. It’s been a long time since I last saw Michelle (which I supposed is the week after her wedding!). We went to Pu Tian for dinner because the mummy-to-be wants to have chinese food. And Dearest went along too. =] Had so much fun time taking pictures with the Polaroid camera. =] Initially we thought Darling’s Polaroid camera was spoiled because we are unable to take any pictures. Then we realized that the negatives for the camera was used up. So we went to buy a new roll and the camera was working! And I could feel the baby moving! Gosh. I am really excited because Michelle is due next month! =D And then Dearest sent me home.

I have finally watched “SAW VI”! And it’s still my beloved movie of all time. =] Went to Lido for the movie because JJ has the ticket vouchers. =D And of course, I test out my new camera. =]

It’s been like donkey years since I last updated my last entry (I know it’s not long compared to those blogs which are growing spider webs), and I have 101 things to blog. And, I know I didn’t post up pictures of my niece’s birthday, Wen Jie & PeiNing’s wedding, Brandon Chong’s wedding and more… No time. Seriously. The moment I reached home, I feel like a corpse, and most importantly.. I am busy watching my overdued Hong Kong drama Series.. And can you believe it that I have been watching 家好月圆 for months already? Ok, that’s not the main point.

Back to where I am supposed to start. Perhaps I will just update my entry with the latest event (because.. since the rest of the events has been overdued for so long.. so just let it overdue for another period of time, and I will upload the pictures up. LOL). And the latest event would my company D&D (Dinner and Dance) last Friday (06.11.2009). It was my first company D&D and naturally, I felt so excited (so what?). The event was held at Pan Pacific Hotel. The emcee is really funny, and I was laughing my ass off (almost literally). We were concentrating so much on the emcee that we didn’t bother about the food. So we just eat what was being served. And when Dearest asked me what I had, I didn’t even noticed what was being served to me.. I just ate what’s on my plate. And then there is some photo taking session, and stupid me.. I forgotten about my camera! How could it be? Gosh, it makes me upset for the whole night. And after D&D, I went to meet up with Dearest and co. for “Paranormal Activity“. And I must say, this movie is really B O R I N G.

And and and!! I won the 6th prize from the lucky draw! How lucky am I? So now, I own 2 camera. I passed the old one to Dearest because he claims he will take picture with it (who knows? he might just use my camera and CAM WHORE?). Whatever it is, I am really a happy girl.
