Time passed so fast, at one blink, the long weekend is gone! It was such a busy weekend,

  • Thursday, meet up with Peili to discuss about the blogshop
  • Friday, meet up with my collagues for movie and dinner
  • Saturday, meet up with my secondary school friends
  • Sunday, sleep at home

Am I busy? I was supposed to have driving lessons on Saturday and Sunday, but because the instructor’s mother was seriously ill, so he had no choice but to cancel the lessons. Hopefully I still got time to catch up what I have missed out. πŸ˜€

Anyways, I was talking about the outing with my colleagues. This is the first time we went out with such a big group! We went to watch Sherk Forever After 3D at Ang Mo Kio hub! It was my first time there (ok, I know I sound like I just came down from a mountain, but who cares? I stay in the WEST leh.) as well! Didn’t have much time to go shopping because we were rushing for time. Lucky us, the movie didn’t start on time. The 3D effect was really good, the storyline.. so so lah. πŸ™‚

And after the movie, we went to Jalan Kayu, Jerry’s, for dinner. The food there is really good! Ordered steak for myself. And mango sago for dessert (of course it’s not at Jerry’s lah). It’s so fun to go out with a big group of people. And of course, it was my first time (Shun Jie was saying maybe the last time) to Hougang Mall. We went there for some after meal dessert which we didn’t managed to have it at Jerry’s. I supposed that the desserts at Jerry’s ain’t that appealing?







Saturday, went to meet up with my secondary school friends. I meet the rest of them at the bowling alley at Marina Square. And after bowling, we went for dinner at Mamarlade Pantry at Ion. I think this place is more for desserts like cakes and tea/coffee, definetely not a place for dinner if you prefer a varieties. Because I didn’t know what to eat there, so I chose sandwiches. It’s quite pricey for sandwiches. But I supposed the desserts there must be the killer for all. πŸ˜‰ Didn’t managed to try the cupcakes because it was ALL SOLD OUT! Wasted, maybe we will go back some day just for the desserts.

It just hit me that it’s been a long long time since the 8 of us came out together! It’s really a rare ocassion as everyone was so busy with their stuffs.

After the dinner, Michelle and Leonard went back. And the rest of us went to Paragon’s Coffee Bean for some drinks and to discuss our trip to Melaka! This is gonna be exciting! Because we have NEVER go for a trip outside Singapore with so many people! So we got Josephine, Jesslin (pending), Amy, Alicia, Peili, Saran, Yeo Han, Xiang, Valerie, and me! Currently we got 2 cars (Josephine‘s and Peili‘s), so their boyfriends will be going too. So the tentative date for OUR Melaka trip will be 4th August 2010. Not sure if the rest of the people are as excited as me. πŸ™‚

After the coffee break, I joined Saran and Xiang for some beer at Ice Cold Beer. It’s my first time there and enjoyed the beer (although I can’t finish) and the chicken wings. =] We left the place at about 2a.m because Xiang gonna wake up early for the Pulau Ubin trip.

I have been sourcing for different solution to resolve this problem that bugs me for YEARS. Yeah, literally. I have tried sticking the biore pore thingy, but it’s no use. And, I was still stuck with this problem.

GOOD NEWS for US! Neutrogena came out with this Blackhead Eliminating Daily Scrub! And blackheads NO MORE! πŸ™‚ Now I am a happy girl. I try to use it daily because I tried stopped using it for a few days, and I can see the dead skin peeling off. UGLY! So when I used it every day, the skin on my nose remains smooth. And I’m not exaggerating the effects! It’s been months since I used this product and I really find it effective. However, I think it really depends on the skin type of different people.

Complete it with the Blackhead Eliminating Warm Treatment! It’s a small tube that comes in a box of 8. I can use that for a long long time. I used this Warm Treatment once every 2 days maybe? And after using that, I felt that the skin around the nose area is smoother. Massage your nose with the Warm Treatment and you can feel the difference! Determined

I am so determined to write a post today! Else, I don’t know when I will have the energy (I know lah, Thursday! I am on LEAVE LEAVE LEAVE!). Nothing makes me happier than going on LEAVE and have a longggg weekend! Starting a new module block teaching yesterday. ON A SUNDAY! And the only most ‘relaxed’ week last week was not relaxed at all. Shadinah went on 3 days leave (Monday – Wednesday) to help out her friend’s wedding (which means I have to work FULL SHIFT, 8am- 8pm), and I got course on Thursday and Friday(9a.m – 6p.m), and after class I have to ‘chiong’ home to finish my ECONS Pre-course assignment which was due yesterday. Thank God I managed to complete it on Friday. BUT, I am worried. Because I wrote 756 words instead of the MINIMUM 800 words. Will they fail me? And my conclusion was really short. Whatever it is, I leave it to the hands of the Lord.

Studying part time is really energy consuming. Most of the time I am feeling tired. Most of the weekends I spent, is nuah at home and do homework. After the block teaching ends this Wednesday, I have to start on my MAIN ASSIGNMENTS. Assignment, mention of this word, can kill me instantly. No lah, I am being exaggrating. Sometimes, I felt that I am too gan jiong until pang sai also no time and no mood to eat. I am not trying to slim down because I believe I am already very ‘SLIMMED’, left bones only. Just that sometimes I am even too tired to eat.

Alright, I was talking about the car accident in my previous entry, and as a typical KPO singaporean, of course I went up to take some pictures lah.


So the ambulance came and brought her to the hospital. Hopefully it’s not as seriously. There was so many F.T standing around, and even more came before the ambulance went off. The policemen told the F.T to move up was quite angry when the F.T are still standing on the road. Aiyo, sometimes you have to forgive these F.T, who knows whether they can understand simple English or not?

Moving on, Guan Kun came back from Taiwan and bought me a STITCH! So happy! Because I *hearts* Stitch!

And I placed Nano Blue into the bag. LOL. It looks like a kangaroo now!

And my lovely toys never failed to make me smile! And I love to take pictures of them. Esp Chou Chou and Nano Blue since they follow me almost everywhere I go,

Anyways, I was mentioning about the course I attended last week? It’s GEMS with Passion. Great and fun class. The trainer was really funny and it’s filled with laughter in the class, because sometimes she would become so crazy. LOL.

The trainer, Meriene Goo, was really sweet! She gave me a little bear keychain because she knew I am getting married. So sweet! And it’s really cute. I shall and I will take a picture of the bear and post up soon. Just wait patiencely. πŸ™‚

See, I am too busy these days to even update my blog. I was tired after lessons almost everyday, too shag. Even so, I know God is giving the energy to last until Friday.

Lessons is great! Although I’m feeling tired during the day and during the break time, but the moment the lecturer starts giving his lecturer, I am listening with all ears! Not feeling tired at all. It’s AFTER the lessons, then I am starting to feel tired all over again. Nevertheless, it’s good to be in school again. πŸ˜‰

There was an accident that happened too fast on last Sunday when we were out for late dinner at the usual coffee shop. I was playing with my iPhone and then suddenly everyone was crowding around near the road. As a typical Singaporean, I went to join in the crowd and saw that one of the car collided with a pedestrian.Β  And the pedestrian was lying the road, tweeting her fingers or toes some times, else, she remains motionless (but she’s still alive). There was blood on her forehead. No was hurt in that accident other than her. I heard from the ah peks (uncles) in the coffee shop that it was the woman’s fault because she was ‘chionging‘ (jay ‘running’) across the road when it was the red man. And then *BANG*, there goes her.. lying on the road. I suspect that she’s a Cwoman. Because she dressed like one. Sorry if I m stereotyping all people from that country. Just can’t help it.

Maybe I will update more when I have the time to. I felt that I m just posting for the sake of posting. THIS IS SO BAD! I am just too tired.

I want to let everyone know that I have great friends around me!

This is so random. Because I want to be random!

Thanks Brian for his Godiva chocolate! =] Chou chou and I loves it very much! Haha!!

And then dinner with Darling! Feel so bad that I was late for almost 30 minutes because I went to CDC (Comfort Driving Center) to open an account so I can book my TP. But the instructor told me that he will be out of Singapore on the 6th July, so he told me he will book my TP for me.

So me and Darling went to Sushi Tei for our dinner. And I must say their good is really good!

This is what we ordered for our dinner. And after that dinner, both of us was so full loh! Can you imagine, 4 kinds of sashimi, 4 kinds of sushi and 1 sashimi salad and our stomach was already bloated. The sauce for the salad is good too! And the bad thing is, we were sitting at the corner so the servers cannot see us. We had lotsa of laughter that night. And I like this feeling. πŸ˜‰

Noticed this commercial on the “My Paper” today? Today I was talking to one of the colleague about this picture. Both of us thinks that this picture well taken. And I told her in order to take such a beautiful pose, this model must have gone thru hell. I was telling her jokingly that in the future I might ‘force’ my little girl to learn ballet. She was looking at me with a serious face and told me, “force no use one lah, must have interest”. And then I told her, I will start to create some ‘awareness’ of the ballet when she’s in me. And then I will play piano pieces every night so she will have interest in learning piano. To complete something that I want to do, but never got the chance to do. And then my colleague say, θƒŽζ•™ (Prenatal education) really does cultivate the interest in the baby as they grow up. BUT, I was really joking when I told her that I am gonna “FORCE” my kids to learn anything against their will.

If people say, child-birth pain is a curse from the Lord because Eve sinned against him, then why fear there is pain when you have the Lord? Because when Jesus died on the cross some 2000 yrs ago, the pain, the sin and whatsoever has been taken away from you by him. He cleanse our blood WITH HIS BLOOD. Thus we are no longer sinner. But the beloved child of God.

I truly believe that whatever you say, affects the baby.. because the baby listens to his/her surrounding even before they were born. I am trying to say is, what kind of parents.. brings up what kind of children. Don’t you agree? If you grow up in an environment with your parents screaming at each other, scolding all sorts of vulgarities.. you will grow like your parents. Never treat your partner well and such. But if you grow up in an environment whereby your parents teaches you values, I am sure you will grow up learning how to respect people, shower your love to your love ones etc. It really depends. Whenever, I heard the father of the unborn child keep cursing and swearing.. I am pondered.. What kind of person will the child be when he grows up. I will never want my child to learn vulgarities and maybe even, the first word that comes out from their mouth will be: “Fuck”, “CB”, “KNN” etc. I always try to remind boyfriend NOT TO EVER SPEAK TO ME like that. Not even in front of me. Because I never like the way the guys talk with words like “KNN”, “CB” coming out from their mouth. So sometimes, I don’t really like the way his friends talk. Too much “KNN”, “CB” and many more of the hokkien vulgarities that you can think of. All of us does scold vulgarities, I do. I try to minimize. At least, I don’t scold “KNNBCCB” or things like that. The most I will scold is “FUCK”, “WHAT THE FISH?”, “FISH” (to substitute FUCK). LOL.

Labour Day Weekends

It’s been a few days since I last blogged, and I told myself… I will try to blog as often as I could. BUT, I am so caught up with things. First, I need to do my pre-assignment for my Human Resource Management (HRM) which is due on the 10th May. And I got about 7 days to do now! After which I need to do my Economics pre-assignment which is due on the 24th May. Ah, nevermind about the assignments! I am sure I will be able to complete everything with God’s help. =]

Anyways, I had quite an enjoyable weekend last week! With my friends and my Dearest.


Last Friday, I finally meet up with TY, after so long. Maybe for more than half a year? We went for a movie marathon, despite our tiredness, Iron Man 2 and Ip Man 2! The most looked forward movie of the month! We had a fast dinner at Secret Recipe (P.S), and I am telling you, I AM NOT GOING BACK FOR ANY MEALS. The service was really bad. I put up my hand for order, and the indian guy told me he will get back to me (sorry if I have sounded a little racist here). After waiting for 10 minutes, noone came, so I thought we have to order at the counter. Since my order is kinda complicated (not wanting the vegs and whats not), I offered to order the food. And so, the malay server told me to go back to my seat and they will get back to me in a short while. Feeling frustrated and rushing for time, I told her that SOMEONE told me that he’ll get back to me and he didn’t, that’s the reason WHY I WENT TO THE COUNTER! Ok, so she came to me in a minute’s time. The food there is really horrible. No taste. I had the Vietnamese Beef Noodle (and I have the liking for the beef noodle, because that’s the best I had so far), it tasted like…. DARK SOYA SAUCE + OIL. I am like “WOW”, and it’s not cheap at all.

Nevermind about the food, we rushed for the movie because we were about 20 minutes late (the movie starts at 2145hrs). Lucky for me, we didnt miss a lot of the show, in fact, just a few minutes of the show. Please remember to stay till the end of the credit!! Because there is a short footage of Iron Man 3, maybe? LOL. I would still prefer Iron Man 1, because Iron Man 2 seems a little too… dry. And once the show finishes, it’s time for some toilet and smoking break before we head for the 2nd movie, Ip Man 2. We watched Ip Man 2 with Shun Jie and Jian Hui. And Ip Man 2 is still as good as Ip Man 1. But it’s both movies are recommended!!

On Saturday, I went for my driving practical, finally. And I am so glad and happy. Glad because I took private lessons, happy because I can drive again! The driving lesson went smoothly, and perhaps I was too nervous, I was holding on the stirling wheel very tightly. I guess I need to find ways to relax myself. πŸ™‚ After that, we went to ECP’s lagoon for dinner. And it was a very sumptuous dinner!

On Sunday, we went for our church service. And last week, they celebrated Mother’s Day. I am wishing all mothers out there a VERY HAPPY MoTHER’s DAY! Without our mommy, we won’t be here standing. So one should be grateful to our mother’s love and not forgetting the love of our great God!

Anyways, I tried out the Mabeline’s B.B cream! I was wondering to myself, how can I get the perfect make up without looking so dull and boring. At least have some radiance on my face, and make my complexion a little bit more chio. I bought it out of curiousity because everywhere I went, there is this person promoting about B.B cream and I was wondering what this B.B cream can do. I am not really convinced of what the person says until I tried it myself. And it really does wonder! It’s a pity that this is just a small tude. And it cost about $17.90.

Notice any differnces? The top is without B.B cream and and bottom is with B.B cream. B.B cream actually gives a better coverage on your face. It does a little conceal too! So it can really cover a little bit of my dark eye rings and the redness caused by the pimples. And to complete it, I applied eyes and face concealer to conceal the pimples totally. After that, put on your liquid foundation, and set it with loose powder for more lasting effect. Then you can put on your eye make up and whatsoever. But, if you don’t want to put on heavy make up or personally perfers to have a light make up, you can just put on the B.B cream (after your pimple cream and moisturizer), set it with some loose powder and you are ready to go!

I am saying so beause, you can really notice the difference in my make up! The B.B cream actually gives ‘radiance’ your skin, so your make up doesn’t look dull. See the picture! So much difference! (Damn, I think I looked FAT on the picture) I super recommed B.B.cream if you wanna have radiance on your face and better coverage. Try Etude House or Mabelline (only the one you see in the picture above!)! Etude House have so much choices of B.B Cream. I am sure you can search for a perfect one there!

Back to where I stopped. After church service, we went to have dinner at Old Town. And the serving is really small, but the food is considered nice.


Some arty farty shots during the dinner time. LOL. After the dinner, we took circle line and headed back home. I was thinking to myself. From one stop to another took about 2 minutes, which means it took us about 6 minutes from Promenade to Mountbatten MRT station, which is 3 stops away. I always thought that once the circle line opens, then the W-E MRT line will not be as crowded. But, I WAS WRONG! It’s still as crowded as before. Simply because.. the circle line is from the middle central (Paya Lebar) to north side (Bishan), and the west is till Buona Vista. Nothing at Pasir Ris or Jurong. So irritating right? And sometimes, I almost stick my face onto the door, or have to smell the B.O of certain someone. Yucks. Unlike Dearest, he can just can C.L from Mountbattem and alight a few stops later to Bras Basah. So convenient for him.

I am still find it weird that we have to wait for about 5 minutes before the next train arrival during peak hours. When the previous trains are already so PACKED. Can’t SMRT do something about it? They just keep building more train stations, and they are not providing more trains for the peak hours, so what’s the point of having so much stations and NO MUCH TRAINS??

And, I am so happy and glad to have such a caring future mother in law. LOL. When the volcano erupted and the weather forecast say the cloud will spread as the winds blow, thus we will see these ‘poisonous’ clouds and it rains when it’s still so bright and sunny, she told Dearest to tell me not to get myself caught in such rain. And then, she asked Dearest if we wanna have dinner at home because it’s not good that we kept having dinner outside. Ahhhh. What more can I ask for? πŸ˜‰


Did mention about going to Jay Chou’s concert?? I’m going on the 23rd July!! A day before my exam. SO……. I AM GOING TO TAKE LEAVE, MUG AT HOME.. And head for his concert!! πŸ˜€ Happy like a bird! I am going with Uncle Jeremy and the ‘gf’, and REmi & CO~!
