I thought I could take a bus with $1.60 in my Ez-Link card.

So I happily boarded the bus.

Tapped my card.

*Beep Beep* The sound of error.

I tried again and when the bus driver looked at me, I told him I tapped my Ez-Link card.

He say: Minimum amount is $3.

Staring at him.

“I don’t have money(cash)”, I said to him.

“You can change with someone in the bus for coins”, the bus driver replied me.

“No, I got NO MONEY. I left my wallet in my office and I only got my debit card with me.”, I replied unwillingly.

The driver looked at me for a moment and give me the “just-go-in-lah” hand sign.

Took a free ride today.

And it’s totally embarrassing.
