Halloween 2012~!

This year is best year because I have so much events happening with my girlfriends.

This year, (I can’t really say we are celebrating Halloween because we just wanna have some fun with cosplay and taking photos) we made an effort to join in the Halloween party fun.

We booked a hotel room in Grand Copthrone Waterfront so that all of us can dress up and prepare ourselves for the event. It was quite a long wait for a smoking room, thus the person upgraded our room to a suite instead! Amy and I were really thrilled. 😀 I wished you were there to see our excited faces. 🙂

This is the spacious living room! I supposed you are able to smoke there since there is an ash tray on the table. 🙂

This is the bedroom, with a door.

There are a total of 2 television in the room, one in the living room and the other one is in the bedroom. The room is really so spacious to a point, we just don’t know where to place our barang barangs. 😛

Out of the 30 floors, we are assigned to a 28th floor. So even though we don’t have a ‘seaview’, but we have a high building view.

Then, we started preparing our stuffs for the night. We comb and put serum to the wig we bought at the Spotlight. The wig was in a mess, and the texture of the wig… Not very good. After applying ‘tons’ of serum, the wig is in perfect condition. 🙂 And we are still missing of one person, the birthday girl Valerie. She went to her aunt’s house warming and came in really late. :S

And the theme of the day?

Rag dolls.

As this was the first time all of us really dress up for Halloween, it took us quite some time to put on the make up (the face paint for 3 of us as Kerine was allergy to the paint). We got some fake blood so that we looked a bit scary (Halloween is about being scary right?).

Side note: I know people will say Christians shouldn’t be celebrating Halloween because it’s like celebrating the devil day (sort of) since everyone is dressed up looking like one blah blah blah. But the reason we are doing this is because, we just wanted to experience the Halloween fun of dressing up, and drinks. Not that we are agreeing that it’s ok for Christians to celebrate Halloween, we just think that it’s ok to have fun dressing up and taking photos with random strangers. You may be a strict Christian, and you may be disapprove or even condemn of what we did for Halloween, but the main point of this is to have fun staycation and dressing up with my girlfriends. You may think by having such behavior, we might be worshiping the devil but I am not going to have more explanation because you will think those  are excuses anyway. In my eyes, it’s only God who is great.

Finally Valerie arrived and we prepared halloween birthday cupcakes for her! ^^ And due to the waiting time for the room, some of the cupcakes melted. 😦

It was a happy occasion but we can’t smile because we looked damn weird smiling for this picture in our attire. LOL.

Punishment for coming so late? One glass down!

Because she arrived so late, so we got her to sit down and the rest we do for her. Combining our experience for the make up and hairdo, it took us about 15 minutes to prepare her. Fast isn’t it? Her attire doesn’t match ours at all! So we called her the mad scientist. I kinda think that the makeover for Halloween looks fantastic for everyone is a first timer. 😛 If there is a next time, we will perhaps get a better substitute for the white face paint.

Feeding ourselves with fries. HAHA!

We camwhored many pictures in the room, but I am not going to post everything because it’s really troublesome to do so. 😛 You may call me lazy. So I am just gonna post a few of the camwhoring shots in the room.

We wanted to head out to Zouk but it was so crowded with a lot of people who also can’t get it. Can’t help it. We left the room at 12mn? That’s really late right?

So we head down to Clarke Quay to continue partying! And there are quite a bit of people dressing up for the Halloween weekend (since Halloween falls on a weekday this year). And then this person requested to take a photo with all of us. 🙂

Then, we head to one of our favorite place, Aqua Nova, for some drinks. And we took photo with the singer, who dressed up as Avatar. And this reminds me of Valerie’s initial make up which I didn’t managed to take a picture. And there was this irritating fat woman who keep blocking our camera. And honestly, we didn’t even want to include her in our picture at all. And I am not going to post that picture up here neither, because that picture with her is hideous.

Two of the Japanese people requested to take a photo with us, and say we are “Kawaii”.

The make up for the Wicked witch is good. We will find out the secret behind the perfect make up. LOL.

One of the scary photos, the effect of the light under our feet. lol.

This one of the group shots with other Halloween party goers.

Then we headed back to our hotel wanting to go to Zouk, but then again it was still crowded with a lot of people and the mis-communication with the bartender pisses the girls (we wanted 2 for 2 so Jesslin ordered 2 beers, but the bartender gave us 1 for 1 = 2. -.-”) Then we camwhored a bit before removing make up and head to bed while Kerine headed back home so the rest of us rest in the hotel. 🙂

Next day, Valerie went off early for work and the 3 of us stick around for a while more since we have a late check out. Then we head to Tiong Baruh Plaza for lunch before heading back home. It was really a fun time experiencing and ‘dolling’ ourselves for the Halloween party. 🙂

Let’s have a Staycation again! ^^
