It was Isabelle’s first birthday last Sunday, and I attended the event with Alyssa. πŸ™‚

She kept telling me “阿姨, ζˆ‘θ¦εŽ»JPηš„NTUC. ζˆ‘θ¦δΉ°ιž‹.” (Ah Yi, I want to go to JP’s NTUC. I want to buy shoes) for the whole day until the moment I bought for her. She’s so adorable. πŸ™‚ Love her to the max. πŸ™‚

BTW, did I mention about losing $200 on mahjong on Saturday night? :S I almost fainted when I counted the money.

Happy Birthday to myself! ^^ It’s my birthday today! And I’m damn happy and looking forward to dinner with my family and friends. πŸ™‚

Happy family celebrated my birthday in advance last night. And I got my new iPad Mini, 16GB with LTE. The thing is, it’s not available in SG yet, so I have gotta wait patiently for 7th December to come. πŸ™‚

Dearest celebrated my birthday on 12mn sharp. Very touch with he hold a plate of Stitch cakes to me with hand made card and a pair of new earrings. πŸ™‚ He couldn’t join me with my family and friends because he has to help out at his grandma’s (mother side) funeral. She passed away on Monday in the hospital. That’s a relieve for her I supposed after being in agony for so long. May she find peace in Him. God bless.

We had a celebration 2 weeks ago, because Shun Jie couldn’t book out for the next few weekends.

So we went to Jerry’s Barbecue & Grill for dinner. It’s located at Jalan Kayu. πŸ™‚

But personally I think if you wanna celebrate people you consider places that are Β not crowded or have more experience in handling such situation, because the person took the WHOLE cake without putting the candles (with the cake box) and placed it on the table together with the plate. Totally sian-ed. I guess it’s because they are really busy.

It’s a brand new year!! 2012 has finally arrived! πŸ™‚ And Kerine, being the ‘oldest’ Β (in terms of MONTHS) among us, held her birthday party at MBS. We had our dinner atΒ CarnivoreΒ (and thanks for the treat!), had some drinks at the Sky lounge. And the view there is really awesome! How can I miss such beautiful scenery? πŸ˜€

All the girls managed to turn up for her birthday party, and we had fun chatting over the dinner. πŸ™‚

Val bought some cup cakes as Kerine’s birthday cake. The cake is pretty, and nice. Pity that I do not have the habit of eating so late, else I might be able to finish the whole cup cake. Sorry for the waste!

We cannot leave the place without some cam whoring! πŸ™‚ And I think the person who cam whored the most would be ME! Doesn’t matter lah huh! Hehe

Before that, I meet up with her and Evelyn to celebrate her birthday in advance! We went to a japanese ramen restaurant @ Ion for dinner and chill at the coffee club.

Happy birthday to me!

I know, birthday was like a few days ago! I just like the feel of saying it again! Hahaha! This is the month I am waiting for! The month that I feel I am the STAR. No lah, just kidding. A little aggerate on this part. I am just happy because I can celebrate moi birthday with people around me.

First part, I celebrated my birthday with Dearest on Saturday. Dinner at Watami @ Central. Before that, I went to visit Darling‘s cute little baby, Isabel! She’s such a darling!

Second part, I celebrated my birthday with my Happy Family last Sunday! Went for a movie (“Immortals”) at Nex, with quite a bit of people and this time, Sha joined us for movie! After movie, we went to Serangoon Garden, Pow Sing, for dinner. Sha couldn’t join us because it’s non Halal, Jian hui didn’t join us because he got something on. 😦 But nevermind lah, I still have a big group of people celebrating my birthday!

Initially, lao ban was saying Botak is emo in camp, so he want movie and dinner before heading back to camp on Sunday. So I, as a PA, booked tickets for everyone. Dinner at Pow Sing is good! Just that I was feeling unwell, otherwise I feel that I can eat more. 😦

Happy birthday to little Faith! Her parents celebrated her 1st birthday in advance over the last weekend. And I couldn’t join in the celebration earlier because I gotta work until 14:30 hrs, but nevertheless, I reached their house about 15:30hrs. In time for some mahjong session. Can really sense the change in the way Gavin speak now. Changing for the good of course. Lesser vulgarities or perhaps no vulgarities during the mahjong session which is good. I guess it’s good to have children, they give bonding and change your bad habits. It makes the mahjong session a pleasant one. πŸ˜€ It’s still a pretty good session even though I didn’t really win. At least, I played. Had dinner at their house and the beef is good! After everyone has left, we chatted with Christine and Alan about our wedding dinner. Alan was giving us suggestions and keep telling Dearest it’s time to hold the dinner soon. Having a customary wedding dinner is a matter of time, so we might as well have it at the soonest possible time. Money is an issue, but I am sure by God’s grace, we will be able to overcome the money issues. =]

Bought something to go along with my new love! Tamron SP 70-300mm f4-5.6 VC USD lens. After many attempts to get quotations from various shops, only MS color and Orient Photo replied my email (can I assume the rest are not keen to do my business?), MS color quoted the best price ($685) whereas Orient Photo quoted me $750 for the same lens!

A big ‘kiasu’ so I bought 2 types of filter, one is CPL and another one is merely UV protection filter so it’s like DOUBLE PROTECTION for my lens. Call me ‘kiasu’ but I rather spend $100 on 2 filters than spending $700 again for the lens. That’s provided if I am really that unlucky, dropped my lens and spoil it. Anyways, CPL helps to ‘improve’ the colors of the photos while UV protects UV. Hahaha. Ok, that sounds a little rubbish and not so ‘professional’. Dearest always say ‘you are not professional so buy cheap one can liao.’. But I think this got nothing to do with being a professional or not. I mean, if I wanna get something, it’s always better choice to get the newer than buying something that’s old which perhaps after awhile you have to sell it for a lesser price, and then buy the newer one. That’s why I always seek people’s opinion when I couldn’t make a decision on which one to buy. However, because he’s not into this, he doesn’t understand WHY I always choose to buy latter. The thing is, cheap doesn’t always means good and durable. But in his own opinion, I should always get the cheaper things. He was comparing the King Koil Silk Royal Bedding series to my zoom lens. He say he rather spend the money on the bedding series than buying the zoom lens because he can sleep on it everyday, whereas I don’t take photos everyday.

Yea, this is my new love. A little on the long side. It’s a zoom lens. =]

And this is the tripod that comes with the camera. Honestly, I didnt really look at it when I got it until last night.

It’s the ball bearing one, with a little compass. How cool is it. πŸ™‚ It’s easier to use than the old school one, and I just mount my camera + zoom lens. Double confirmed that this tripod is not very lousy. This means that I can save money on tripod! Yay~ And now, I have to spend money to buy the remote control for the shutter. Noticed that when I mount on the tripod and tried to take some picture, my focus will shift by a little bit. I supposed the remote control will solve my problem. Asking Suzy to help me with it. And yes, I can go bird park with Suzy for photo shoot! YAY~

And my first attempt using the zoom lens for the moon shoot. The one I posted on Facebook looks a little grainy. Smaller one looks better. LOL. Perhaps I will try again when I got time. πŸ˜€

I am a bad girl, because I overslept till 4p.m then wake up! 😦 I will repent on this.

It’s birthday celebration time! And we celebrated Wilson‘s mum’s birthday a.k.a my MIL (not used to calling her MIL. Hehe). We just had a simple cake cutting session at home before heading out to NEX for dinner at Sushi Tei (yes, I got my membership card liao!). Introducing them my fav (sashimi salad). LOL~ After dinner, we went to NTUC for a stroll, and bought some grocery back. =] That’s all for my Sunday.

Oh yes, Xiao Blue Blue and Chou Chou also join in to celebrate! It was epic when Auntie say Chou Chou didnt wish her happy birthday! Hehe. Everyone loves Chou Chou hor! πŸ˜‰

We went to celebrate Dearest’s birthday in advance and to give him a treat after his 3 long weeks of reservist. So I booked a hotel room at Scarlet Hotel after hearing the not-bad-reviews about it. The room was indeed small compared to the other hotels that I have stayed so far. The staffs there are considered quite friendly although I have very few interaction with them. We managed to walk across to maxwell market for dinner while it was drizzling. And while we were slacking in the hotel room, it started to rain heavily. Since it was raining the WHOLE day, so we didn’t have the chance to go Chinatown for a walk and take pictures. 😦

Nevertheless, I have requested for a surprise birthday cake for him. Not too sure if it’s really surprise for him. Hahaha.

Just hope he will like it.

Met up with the girls to celebrate Peili’s birthday, only Jesslin didn’t managed to turn up due to her busy schedule. Nonetheless, I’m sure everyone had their fair share of fun.

Everything was going smoothly, the girls and I started talking after a couple of months of silence.. Until that woman came. Her unpleasant abnormal exaggerating reaction turns me off. I would have asked her wth’s wrong with her, but I didn’t because I do not want to spoil the fun and all. She was trying so hard, so hard to make me feel outcast again. Thanks for her effort. Look, I’m trying hard to get back to the group, if you didn’t want me there, just say so. It’s really suck when I was trying to get back to the girls and there you are, having small little actions. Like doesn’t want to sit beside me and all. Please kindly behave like a 26 years old woman. If not for Peili, I would have said something. But even so, I will still choose to remain silence. But please do not take my patience for granted.

I am so sorry if I sound like I am back stabbing you. But comparing to what you have done, this is so mild. And since I did not mention any names here, and YOU think I’m talking about YOU… then YOU ARE feeling guilty. For what? You should know.

And as F.R.I.E.N.D.S, we stand by EACH OTHER and not attempted to sabotage one’s F.R.I.E.N.D.S.H.I.P.. But you are too shallow to understand the true meaning of F.R.I.E.N.D.S.H.I.P, remember popularity doesn’t last forever.

Dearest‘s birthday is just around the corner and I need to come up with a list of things to do with him.

First,

Took this image from internet. Yes, Scarlet Hotel for his birthday. So that we can both enjoy ourselves and we shall head to Chinatown for some photo taking session since it will be the Chinese New Year period and there will be decorations around, after that and relaxing in the hotel. =]

Second,

We will head home for dinner with my family because, Dearest shared the same birthday as my mum. =] What a coincidence!

Third,

THE LINE buffet for Dearest! He has been talking about this buffet for quite some time, and I think it’s time to go! So I have made a reservation on 31st (which is his actual birthday).

Last,

I do not know what to get for his birthday. How? Any kind souls who can give me some suggestions?
