And, I feel happy for my one of my secondary school girlfriends. She got engaged! Just saw from the facebook. And sometimes I wished, we haven’t drifted away from each other. Too many things happened that is straining our friendship. This upsets me a lot. How? What should I do? Actually this whole thing bothers me a lot. I want to talk to her, but I’m scared. Scare of what? I don’t know also. I missed the days we always talk and sometimes go out for shopping, dinner and what’s not. Things ain’t the same anymore. How? What should I do?

It was a day of chill out session with some good friends. And ended up I have to wait for more than 4 hours (I finish work at 5p.m and they reach at 9plus, worse still Caca reached at 10plus). I was informed last minute by Celest that she can only meet me around 8plus because she got something to settle, and Caca got an appointment to go. 😦

Emo. Lucky uncle Jeremy, Quan Yi and Guan Kun was free that day so we went to NEX shopping center for dinner at Wendy’s. And then I took a train down to Clarke Quay to meet Celest and Caca. Was fuming because Caca just reached home at about 8plus, which means I gotta wait even longer. 😦

Then Celest came about 9plus, and I was fuming mad because they made me wait for so long. Hahaha. So she show me his new Hello Kitty toy, and Chou Chou poked her eyes intending to blind her. HAHAHA!! After that, they made up and become friends again. 😛

As  we were walking to the pub, happened to bump into Sze Tien (Suzy) outside the pub that we wanted to go. Haha. Coincidence huh! Realized its been a while since I last talked to him or see him! He’s definitely getting rounder and rounder. HAHA.

And I know, everyone loves Chou Chou! Hahaha!!

She’s so adorable! 🙂

I was talking to my friend and realized Suzy went off without saying good-bye! So I texted him and he asked if he could join us. LOL. So he came back to join our table, and we were all laughing so much! Gosh, he’s still full of rubbish to talk. And his friend was funny too.

Yup, long time no see. So we took some funny pictures. Post it online. Hahaha!! Kinda funny hor? 😉

Met up with the girls to celebrate Peili’s birthday, only Jesslin didn’t managed to turn up due to her busy schedule. Nonetheless, I’m sure everyone had their fair share of fun.

Everything was going smoothly, the girls and I started talking after a couple of months of silence.. Until that woman came. Her unpleasant abnormal exaggerating reaction turns me off. I would have asked her wth’s wrong with her, but I didn’t because I do not want to spoil the fun and all. She was trying so hard, so hard to make me feel outcast again. Thanks for her effort. Look, I’m trying hard to get back to the group, if you didn’t want me there, just say so. It’s really suck when I was trying to get back to the girls and there you are, having small little actions. Like doesn’t want to sit beside me and all. Please kindly behave like a 26 years old woman. If not for Peili, I would have said something. But even so, I will still choose to remain silence. But please do not take my patience for granted.

I am so sorry if I sound like I am back stabbing you. But comparing to what you have done, this is so mild. And since I did not mention any names here, and YOU think I’m talking about YOU… then YOU ARE feeling guilty. For what? You should know.

And as F.R.I.E.N.D.S, we stand by EACH OTHER and not attempted to sabotage one’s F.R.I.E.N.D.S.H.I.P.. But you are too shallow to understand the true meaning of F.R.I.E.N.D.S.H.I.P, remember popularity doesn’t last forever.

I love and love to treasure my friends. Please remember that, no matter what, everyone is still my friends.

The new year is coming! How excited can one be? I am feeling really excited now! It’s such a good news to see from my FB that some of my friends are getting engaged! Yay~ Wedding bells are coming!

I had a fun time taking photos during the Christmas season with my Dearest. I will upload the pictures soon. When I got the time. =] Let’s hope that it will not take me so long. And I’m still learning how to use my Canon DSLR. So bear with me for my not so chio pictures.

I had a fun time being the  unofficial photographer at Celest‘s birthday party! Thanks for giving this chance to show off my amateur skills. LOL.

New Year Resolution 2011

I am looking back on the resolution list I made for myself last year, and this is what I got,

New Year Resolutions

I was reflecting myself for the past year and what have I done, and once again, I have accomplish nothing. Not that I am incompetent, but this is where laziness steps in. Ok, I know it’s just a crap full of excuses. I have yet list down my New Year Resolution for 2010. And this year, I only have 3 simple wish (no more hoping, yearning for LoVe) and they are:

1) To get my driving license
2) Get started on my degree program
3) GAIN WEIGHT!

Yup, the strike off ones are the one I accomplished this year.

I started my degree program in April. Along with Jesslin, and got to know some awesome groupmates; Celest, Gina, and Sylvia. Although doing groupwork can be really troublesome at times because of the coordination work and what’s not, I still have my fair share of fun and laughter.

I passed my driving test on the 6th December (which is not long ago), on my second attempt. The first one was a flop because I was too nervous and it was raining so heavily. But, I earned my experience from that first attempt. And that’s one of the happiest day of my entire life.

So, what I didn’t managed to accomplish was the 3rd on my list, gaining weight.

Actually, I can’t really say I didnt accomplish it, I didnt even weigh myself! So, let’s count as 1/4 done. 🙂

Next, the new year is approaching and I think I need to come up with a list to make sure I accomplished it at the end of next year. 😀

And the feeling of accomplishing something on your list, really feels good! WOOOOHOOO!

  1. I WILL graduate from UCD.
    Sounds lame. But, getting back the not-good results can further demoralize myself. Some times, I think I want to give up on getting the degree. It’s really killing me. I’m not good in business at all. My English is worse than my Chinese, and my Chinese isn’t any better.
    The flesh is weak, but only God makes me strong.
  2. Get the date for my traditional wedding.
    It’s hard because the bf seems unwilling; to have a traditional wedding. He feels it’s an obligation. Some thing that is against his will and he has to do it because our parents wants it, not him. To him, money is a constraint also.
    I believe to have more faith, that God will guide us through the whole process, and provide us with the sufficient cash for the wedding in 2012.
  3. Friendship.
    Strained friendships. I don’t know if I should just leave the group, or stay.
    Distance. I can feel myself distancing from all of you. Afterall, no sense of belonging.

    Well, at least I know, all these people didn’t know me after all these years.
    After all these things, I know, I don’t fucking exist. I know.

    When life fails you countless times. When friends forsake you. Only God will never fail you nor forsake you.
  4. Gain weight.
    I think I can never leave this out from my resolution list until the day I grow fat.
    In Jesus’ name, I will grow healthier each day.

I think that’s all for my list. Not very sure if I have some thing to add-on later. Hopefully not. 😀

Virgin shot with my new Love

Took leave today to accompany my Ah Ma for her eye check up at SGH. We were quite early for the appointment, so we managed to leave the place at 2p.m (and guess what? Her appointment was supposed to be at 2.20p.m). Since Ah ma’s appointment finished so early, she suggested taking MRT home instead of cab. So we took shuttle bus to Outram, cross the bridge, take the stairs down to the MRT station, can you imagine how much my Ah Ma walked? Ah ma really aged a lot.

I brought along my new love today (because I am going to meet my sister for dinner). The first subject that I took is, TOOTY! =]

And my sister, who… suddenly suggest me taking her photo. One of the rare moments. lol.

MUSHROOM POT STEAMBOAT

Ok, I am kinda blur ok? I walked to the CORRECT place, then suddenly I decided that is NOT the correct place. Somebody please STAB me. Not physically though. I’m scare of pain. Whatever it is, I enjoyed tonight’s dinner (although I didn’t eat much because I was busy playing with my new love). Ah sa was there too! And this time, we are much more closer. =]

Jasmine! She’s back from U.S for ‘holiday’ and then she has to go back again.

I quite like this picture though. She wanted to bring that Woody home. But I bought her Barney fleece blanket instead, because she refused to let go. Hahaha. Isn’t she adorable?

She was ‘kidnapped’ by Eunice after the dinner. Trying to visualized the future, her… and her baby…

There is always rooms for improvement. I love to talk about photographing. 🙂 I know I  need to improve my photography skills (and I only use it for a day, how good can I be?). And after this I think I will save up for a zoom lens soon. Oh yah, and a flash kit. I heard it cost… $400 plus. =| Really expensive hobby huh? Hehe.

Attended Michelle’s little Lucus’s 1st birthday yesterday and guess what? I went to the wrong place. I went to CSC @ Bukit Batok instead of the NS Home Team which is near Bukit Batok Driving Center. So, I took a bus there instead of taking a cab because a lot of people was waiting and, I saw a lot of cabs was being hired. Lucky, I was just 30 mins late. Saw the girls and they were having fun talking and bowling, but I left early because I wasn’t feeling good so I head back home and rest. At night, I went drinking with my gfs last night because I was feeling unhappy about some things. But, now, I am feeling better already. Thanks for your company!

Michelle, I’m sorry if I didn’t talk much yesterday and I left early. :S

ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS YOU~~~

Yes, I got my Canon EOS 60D camera~ Really thank uncle Jeremy for taking of his time today to accompany me to buy the camera. :X

This year is a good year! So happy! I got my license, then I got my DREAM CAMERA! This is totally LOVE!

Wanted to get EOS 550D but Dearest thinks that I should get a 60D instead. And this time, I am totally satisfied, even though it burnt a big hole in my pocket. And I’m looking forward to use it and take beautiful pictures! So do look out for it! Wahahahahah!!

I think I am not a pro, but acting like one. Hopefully, I can master photography skills. 😀

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Finally! The long-awaited Harry Potter movie for the last book, the Deathly Hollows. I have booked the tickets for at least more than a week and I finally catch it on the big screen yesterday! Was feeling excited and looking forward to the movie (since it’s been a while since I watch a movie in the cinema).

One word: AWESOME!

It’s almost like the book! When I was watching movie, I even have the illusion that I have watch it before it was shown on the screen! Maybe that was because I read all the 7 books. I can vaguely remember the storylines in book 7. There are funny moments, where almost everyone took the polyjuice potion and turn into Harry Potter. Can you just imagine ‘Potter’ was once a woman? Funny. Was laughing quite loudly in the cinema. 😛 Can’t control myself. Poor Dobby, the house elf (who was freed by Harry Potter in book 6) died. He’s so adorable, how can one bear such adorable thing to die. But, the story must go on, and Dobby must die.

You know what I did before watching this Deathly Hollows movie? I watched the rest of the Harry Potter movies from book 1 (Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s stone) to book 6 (HarryPotter and the Half Blood Prince)! Crazy isn’t it? I’m a great Potter fan! But, I don’t fancy Twilight. I read about news people are comparing Harry Potter to Twilight, I mean, THEY ARE TOTALLY DIFFERENT you noobs! I would prefer to watch magic action packed movie than vampire love stories (Psst: I love vampire movies, just.. no interest in Twilight. I think that guy’s face is too pale? I scare he might just faint. I like to watch Buffy the vampire slayer! That’s one hell good show that you must watch. Slayers. Does it excites you? LOL~).

Anyways, back to Potter movie. When I was watching the movie and I recalled Dumbledore has died, it saddens me. Do I sound emo here? Why? Because he’s the oldest, and cleverest among all witches and wizards. Think about it, it’s another scarifice to Potter’s success! And Hermione is really getting prettier! And this time, she cut her hair short. Real short. And, I think Ron, has got a BIG mouth. Hahaha, pardon me for saying this. But, you can’t deny it’s true! Professor Snape, he’s the real spy. What’s Andy Lau and Tony Leung? Not gonna reveal more, otherwise it will just spoil the part 2 movie (which is showing in July 2011!!)!

Deathly Hollows are the 3 items:

1) Elder wand (which is in Dumbledore’s possession but since he died, Voldemort took it, from his grave that is),

2) Invisible cloak (owned by Harry Potter) and

3) Resurrection stone which can make the dead alive again (who owns it?).

For those who doesn’t read Harry Potter story (or even catch it’s previous movies), I’m not surprise if you don’t find it nice.

My dear colleagues celebrated my birthday in advance in the office with a stitch cake! That’s so sweet and nice of them! =] Thank you very much!

After work, I head down to P.S to meet Celest and Uncle Jeremy and his gf for dinner first before the movie at 21:45hrs.  So we went to TCC for our dinner (because there is NO queue and I got the discount card)


I missed the potato wedges with melted cheese dip. It reminds me of the TCC days where we always buy this and share among ourselves, and sometimes we even ‘force’ Tim to buy and ‘reward’ us for our good effort! LOL~ Those were the days. Happy times. And it also reminds me of a very good gf, whom we no longer talk. I remembered bumping into her once at Tiong Baruh, we merely exchanged 3 or 4 sentences before going our own ways. That’s so sad. Even when I saw her news feed in FB, I wondered to myself “what happened?”. For this, I don’t think I will ever know. 😦

Amy and I had the same dish! And it’s really spicy (although the menu puts 3 chilli for the spiciness.)! And I had my lovely mango tea freeze. Everything is so nice.

Celest and Uncle Jeremy had the same dish! 😀 Happily chatting in TCC. Was opening my present until I forgot to intro Celest to Uncle Jeremy. LOL.

TADA! My big head scrump. Which I re-named it as big head Chou (ugly in Chinese). They are the Chou Chou’s family! Thus, all name must have a Chou.

And I got a Stitch pencil. How sweet. Now I love Celest deep deep liao! And when the bf saw it, he say “jia lat, getting more and more liao”. LOL~ That’s the way uh huh uh huh~ I like it uh huh uh huh~ Woohooo!~

Over the weekends

Saturday, met up with Emily and Sue for dinner. It’s been a long time since I last met them up. I haven’t seen Emily for 3 years and Sue for 2 years. That’s pretty long huh? So we head down to where Sue’s currently working.. and I think we ordered quite a bit of food because Sue has got $75 voucher from her work place. So, dinner was free! Thanks Sue~! It’s been a long time since I sat down with the girls and talk, chatting about the past. Now Emily even owns a car, with LONG hair~! Things changed. But, they say I didn’t change a bit. For example, I need to get fat or something.

Although it was a fairly short meet up because of the traffic jam that made me waited for more than an hour, it’s still worth meeting up with the rest. Love catching up with the ladies, and I’m sure the next time round when we meet up, it will be a longer meet up. =]

 

Went shopping on Sunday with Dearest, because I wanted to get a dress and heels for my company D&D. Haven’t saw anything that I like for the little dress I want to wear for my D&D! 😦 Shall go and shop for it on Wednesday! Hopefully I can get it on Wed. Otherwise I have to source for one dress on the weekends!! Gosh, time is really running out!

And this is my heels. Glitz and Glamor. But… no blings blings! I wanna look chio chio (pretty) that very day!

I was thinking if I wanna buy some crystal and stick it the ribbons on the heels. Should I? Though decision.

I have been watching Harry Potter DVDs these days. Cool isn’t it? I even dream about it when I was sleeping. LOL. And I really can’t wait to watch Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows on  Friday!
