I think it’s been a long time since I update my blog seriously.

Meet up with Celest for dinner before our ‘last’ paper for the term. Dinner was good. Went to Sakae Sushi for dinner, and I must say.. it’s a waste of money to go there! Perhaps, I have tried better Japanese food, that’s why I think it’s not nice anymore! Whatever it is, the last paper (Cross Cultural Management), is a flop, and I foresee myself retaking the paper. No faith in this paper. And, I keep telling myself I must work hard for the rest of the term. After this last paper, it’s exactly a year to the end of the course! Shall do my best. Even if I can’t get super good grades like Dearest, I must at least pass all modules and get the certificate! πŸ™‚

 

Went to school on Monday to collect Β my Management Research Project (MRP) proposal that I did in the previous term. Met up with Celest to get the textbooks for the new term. And it is Pre Course Assignment (PCA) again! This term is a little tough, and more discipline is need. Only need to go for class for a module, Managing Change, and the rest is just doing ASSIGNMENTS. Very well. Dinner at Domino, not too bad. Just that I shouldn’t order the salmon and mushroom pasta because it’s CREAMY, but.. I love to love mushrooms. Chou Chou have a fair share of the pasta too! Hahaha.

 

This a season to be jolly, la la la la~ Christmas is coming. So happy! Can’t wait for Christmas to come. And guess what?

THEIR baby was born on the 4th November (if I remembered clearly). And I’m not mentioning the names here, because I don’t want to. Anyways, THEY are inviting US to their baby shower on the 25th December. Initially, I thought it would be nice for us to go together, on a second thought.. I think it would be better for Dearest to go by himself; with his friends. I keep having those bad thoughts in my mind, and things that happened 2 months ago, are still printed in the back of my mind. Just couldn’t get it out of my mind. Very bad I know. What else can I do? I don’t think I can communicate with them, at all. I think it’s weird not seeing them for more than 3 months and I’m going to attend their baby shower. I would love to go, but if things in the past did not happen. I think I have the right to guard myself from such people. Right? I love to play with babies. But, how often do I have a chance to play with their babies? I think they hates me. So, we have arrange in a way, Dearest will go for the baby shower, and I will go out with my friend. Enough of this. I shall not dread on this.

Anyways, me and Celest went to Ion and bought her guest book for her 21st birthday! Although it’s expensive, I think it’s all worth it! I’m thrilled about this up coming birthday! Gina and I will be helping out. =]

 

I was bored one day, so I decorated Chou Chou. =]

Met up with Gina yesterday! Was supposed to go for some shopping trip, but by the time we met, have our dinner and walk around.. the shops are almost closed. Oh well.. but we had a fun time talking! Β And thanks to Gina for getting me this Labbit Chou as my birthday present. So nice of her. =]

We went to Siam Kitchen to have our dinner. And honestly, I still prefer ThaiExpress. πŸ™‚ After that we went to take a walk in Bugis and then head back home. I know we are going for shopping soon. =]

 

Happy girl I am, I got myself a laptop table so I can use my laptop on the bed. And using it on the bed is definitely better than using the laptop on the desk. πŸ˜›

A little pricey I must say. It cost me $62.90! But, it’s really worth the price. It has got a fan for the laptop, 4 USB ports on the side. LED light during the night time and some storage place. Β And the mouse pad for the mouse, is really good! Not gonna regret buying this at all! Am I not a happy girl!

What makes me happy is, I have a total of 6 Harry Potter movies to watch before next watching the 7th book next week in Cinema. And I am just done with Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone! Time to go to bed after shower. The doctor says my eyes are little swollen and a little dry. Took the medicine that he gave me, it’s working well! πŸ™‚

Kinda sad, because I have to stop doing my BS for awhile. But be sure, I will be right back! πŸ˜€

Was so busy last month so I have no time to update my blog.

On 16th Oct, we celebrated my Papa’s birthday at JP. Even though it’s my papa’s birthday, I took so much pictures of Alyssa! Hahaha

On the 17th Oct, celebrated Michelle‘s birthday. This is the first time we attended a McDonald’s party! =]

Met up with Celest for a last minute dinner before our exam. =]

23rd Oct, celebrated Alyssa’s 2nd birthday! Bought her a Doraemon bag as her present. =]

Celebration after my last paper! =] Went to have Tampopo for our dinner, and we went to have our hair cut also! =]

Life is short.

Not talking about some weird philosophy, but, life is short.

Be it human or animal. Life is short.

Dearest received news from Alan that he might have to make some decisions; whether to put Coco (his and Christine‘s) beloved dog to sleep. Reason? The vet told them that the cancerous cells (she was diagnosed with breast cancer, went through 2 operations) has spread to her intestines, and her livers are not function properly; there isn’t much things that she can do for her, except to put her to sleep to relieve her from the pain and sufferings.

Whether it’s human or just a dog, we can’t tell how much pain they are suffering because, we are not them. We show our sympathy towards them, we know they are brave enough to go thru the necessary therapy to keep themselves alive, but how much do we know about their pain? All we know is, when they start to show uncomfortable expressions, it means that they might be in pain. Then we start to feel for them. How about those people who are in the final stage of the cancer and still have to go through the necessary therapy, to keep themselves alive. Why would they wanna go through such sufferings? Because they do not want to see their love ones cry for them. Reality is still reality. We have to face the fact that they will leave us someday, maybe not now.. but someday. God has a plan for each and single one of us. Today you see a healthy man, a few months later, the same person is lying on the bed unable to get up. Illness. It definitely caught us off guard.

We will not dwell in sadness, we will make use the rest of our time to make sure everyone around feels loved and treasured by us. I treasured every single one of my friends. Please know that some of my actions are unintentional. If I have caused any hurt towards you, I’m really sorry. Really sorry.

New Fan

Bought a new USB fan. Out of the 5 air con units, 2 is down. That’s as good as not having any air con because the doors are constantly opened by students, outsiders, tutors and whoever… And in this hot weather, I could tolerate no more. Too hot, and my temper is becoming hot too. Not too good.

This fan cost about $19.50, member’s price, at Challenger. Lets see how long will this fan last me. πŸ˜‰

Sha ask Chou Chou: Chou Chou, can you feel the wind from the fan?
Chou Chou nods her head.
Me: Chou Chou, you sitting in front of the fan still cannot feel the wind then something’s wrong with you liao. *Push her head*

Was it because of me that Dearest and his friends are not as close anymore? Saw that his friends went for Dim Sum yesterday, and I asked Dearest if his friends asked him if he wants to go because they usually does that. Surprisingly, they didn’t ask him. Things hasn’t been too good since that very day. Am I the cause to this whole episode? Or was it because of Dearest‘s easy going character that was why he got bullied by these people? Another possible reason was, maybe because that woman was there too. But, I don’t think the rest of them except the couple knows what happened. Why was he excluded again? He was excluded on his long time friend’s birthday. Then he was excluded on the dim sum yesterday. I’m not speculating.. but rather, I am trying to find out the reasons why this happens.

I made myself reallyΒ  happy because I bought a stitch and elmo pouch!! Saw this 2 pouch while I was walking around in Bugis while waiting for Rebecca. Tmd lo! I waited for an hour. -.-”’

YAY! Now I got a Stitch tissue box holder! Dearest bought it. He say I’m having more and more Stitch in the room. With different kind of purpose. Hehe.

I was pondering about, what kind of people can you call them REAL FRIENDS.

A simple prayer works wonder than popping so many pills everyday!

As you people know, I was quite frustrated over the rashes thing that happened a week ago. I popped pills faithfully everyday and have to bear with the morning coldness (because people told me I cannot shower using warm water). So upset! But now, I AM WELL AGAIN! In this process, it really shows how many caring friends I have! Thanks girls for asking! You girls deserved a BIG HUG FROM ME!! Hahahaaha!

Uncle Jeremy‘s daughters came last Friday because there is no class for them… PSLE oral exam, so no class for them. So lucky. How I missed being my mother’s child. πŸ™‚

So the girls were stuck in the office because they aint allow to walk around the campus, it was until I went in the office then I saw them. Such lovely kids. Hahaha. Please don’t tell me go and have one kid. Having own baby is different from playing with other people’s kid. You get what I mean. Anyways, Charlyn was playing with my iPhone and so, this is a picture of me she took. A dying face. Which surprisingly, not too bad. I was talking about me dying soon, because of the hives and what’s not, Charlyn say “Jie Jie, since you are going to die then buy this Zinger buddy meal… you treat me and my sister this….” Innocent kids. LOL.

After work, still feeling depress about the Hives, God speaks to me.

“Cast your care unto the Lord!”

I heard it. And decide that feeling depress isn’t what I want! So, I prayed while I was having my shower. I prayed hard that Lord will heal me and take away all my illness! Red spot did appeared the next morning, but then it was gone forever after that! I stopped my medicine which doctor says I must continue for a month! Thank God for his healing! Maybe you guys might think it’s just some psychological kind of thinking, but I seriously felt God’s presence whenever I pray to him. It was raining so heavily that morning for me to shower in cold water, so I full blast WARM water and shower happily while praying hard for God’s healing. And, no red spots after that. God cleanse me while I was having my shower! Amen!

Poor me was having constipation for the past few days until I shitted on Sunday (after popping 4 laxatives and prune juice). This is the major event that happened and everyone was cheering for me. And thanks to everyone for their precious advise on how to shit when I am constipated.

Dearest very hiao so he went to Browshaus to trim his eye brows. So I was looking at their products and almost wanted to do the eyebrow enhance or rather what they called the eyebrow resurrection. But because it’s $1.2K, Dearest says I shouldn’t waste the money because we are going ROM soon. Actually quite upset about it because I think it’s nice and save me the trouble. But, because I don’t own a Credit Card, I can’t decide because if I want to, I need his credit card. He says I’m using ‘future’ money. Every single time you swap your credit card, you are already spending ‘future’ money. So why i’s paying installment called spending ‘future’ money (花ζœͺζ₯ι’±)? That’s why I say, some times he’s talking rubbish. But I didnt want to argue with him, so I dropped that idea. I will do it in the future with my OWN credit card. 求人不如靠θ‡ͺε·± (depend on yourself rather than begging people).

Working with Uncle Jeremy means… BREAKFaST! Yay, enjoyed my breakfast. Especially Pretty Chou and Nano Blue. πŸ˜‰ (Uncle Jeremy says Pretty Chou looks ‘fat’ here, hahahaha)

I think I’m getting iPhone 4 next month. Using bf’s plan. Hahaha.

Germany : England

England should have pack their bags and go back earlier. They are just plain lucky to get into the last 16. And they are not performing in the World Cup matches at all. Maybe they can only dominate England. I see the Englishman players no up! Well done Germany! Keep up the good work!

And, I am still not done with my assignment. I am dead meat already. 1.8K of words to go. God bless me.

Wanted to stay at home the whole day to do my HRM assignment but decided to head out to meet Yi Hui at Somerset@313 because the previous time we went out in such a big group, we didn’t have much chance to chat. It was quite fun. We went to have our dinner at Marche. It’s not my kind of place because it’s really hard to make decision on what to eat. HAHA.

Saturday, finally met up with my PRIMARY SCHOOL FRIENDS. Yea, primary school friends. When I told Dearest that we are meeting my PRIMARY SCHOOL friends, I think he finds it UNBELIEVABLE. It’s been a while since I last meet up with them which I don’t quite really remember when. I only remember the last time we meet up, we went for KTV session. Maybe we should just meet up more often for singing session. πŸ˜‰ I will be posting the pictures soon (and hopefully it’s soon, because I haven’t even started doing my HRM assignment. :O) Here’s a picture of me and my Dearest. πŸ˜‰

We went to Alps Cafe (Hopefully I got the name of the place correctly), and stayed there still almost 3a.m! Oh gosh, and guess what we were playing? I will not reveal now. Shall reveal it on my next post (keeping my fingers cross). πŸ™‚ And then prata after that! It’s so fun to meet up with them lah.

When everyone is anticipating for Italy’s victory, they have to, sometimes, prove us wrong. Don’t know what’s wrong with the supposed-to-be-strong teams these days. Really NOT performing at all. And when you see the not-so-strong team can tie up the game with the supposed-to-be-strong team, I don’t think these people really that strong. Prove to us people! Just like the Argentina team which did not perform well when they played against Nigeria but shocked with 4 : 1 score when they played against South Korea! Be the MAN!

YAY! BRAZIL! My favourite team of all time! And, surely, this time round, they didn’t make us disappointed at all! Wanted to watch the match but the match only starts at 2:30a.m… I need to work leh. How I wished I could just take leave and support my beloved Brazil team!

** After reading the New Paper, to win, there is a price to pay. Kaka got sent off 87 minutes of the game, because Keita fell on the floor pretending he got ‘elbow’ by Kaka. Handsome guy always ‘kana‘ aim. Kaka is performing and then he got sent away, what justice is there? First he received a yellow card, then a red card. No more handsome guy in Brazil? What’s best is Fabiano hand-balled TWICE without getting caught! 3 Cheers for that! KAKA~~ Where are you? Shame on you Keita!!! **

It’s world cup fever lah dey.

I think some of us might report sick to stay at home after catching the midnight matches. That’s really bad. I think during this period of time, the clinics are really earning quite a bit. LOL. Doctors will understand our plight very much.

GUESS WHO~

Who will win this World Cup? Some of my friends said Argentina because they appeared to be “quite strong”, which I think a lot people might agree. I think people who are still hoping England, France and whatsoever will win the World Cup, I think we do have to think again. See, those “lousy” teams can manage to win or even draw the game with them, what makes us think that they can win? Fat hope! After playing for 90 minutes, the game between England and USA is so disappointing. A DRAW! Dearest was so proud that England will win the game loh. HAHAHA. The next England and Algeria was even more disappointing loh. Once again, Dearest said England CONFIRM will win. But then again, thanks for proving Dearest wrongly. Something that I don’t understand. Why guys like to support England so much huh? No handsome guys to play means cannot win is it? Played 2 games, both games is a draw. So boring can?

Anyways, I really think the sound of the vuvuzela is really irritating! Sometimes I couldn’t hear the commendator. But then it’s like the symbol for the World Cup in South Africa! It’s so hard for the organiser to decide if they should ban this ‘musical instrument’ that is not musical to me.

Time passed so fast, at one blink, the long weekend is gone! It was such a busy weekend,

  • Thursday, meet up with Peili to discuss about the blogshop
  • Friday, meet up with my collagues for movie and dinner
  • Saturday, meet up with my secondary school friends
  • Sunday, sleep at home

Am I busy? I was supposed to have driving lessons on Saturday and Sunday, but because the instructor’s mother was seriously ill, so he had no choice but to cancel the lessons. Hopefully I still got time to catch up what I have missed out. πŸ˜€

Anyways, I was talking about the outing with my colleagues. This is the first time we went out with such a big group! We went to watch Sherk Forever After 3D at Ang Mo Kio hub! It was my first time there (ok, I know I sound like I just came down from a mountain, but who cares? I stay in the WEST leh.) as well! Didn’t have much time to go shopping because we were rushing for time. Lucky us, the movie didn’t start on time. The 3D effect was really good, the storyline.. so so lah. πŸ™‚

And after the movie, we went to Jalan Kayu, Jerry’s, for dinner. The food there is really good! Ordered steak for myself. And mango sago for dessert (of course it’s not at Jerry’s lah). It’s so fun to go out with a big group of people. And of course, it was my first time (Shun Jie was saying maybe the last time) to Hougang Mall. We went there for some after meal dessert which we didn’t managed to have it at Jerry’s. I supposed that the desserts at Jerry’s ain’t that appealing?







Saturday, went to meet up with my secondary school friends. I meet the rest of them at the bowling alley at Marina Square. And after bowling, we went for dinner at Mamarlade Pantry at Ion. I think this place is more for desserts like cakes and tea/coffee, definetely not a place for dinner if you prefer a varieties. Because I didn’t know what to eat there, so I chose sandwiches. It’s quite pricey for sandwiches. But I supposed the desserts there must be the killer for all. πŸ˜‰ Didn’t managed to try the cupcakes because it was ALL SOLD OUT! Wasted, maybe we will go back some day just for the desserts.

It just hit me that it’s been a long long time since the 8 of us came out together! It’s really a rare ocassion as everyone was so busy with their stuffs.

After the dinner, Michelle and Leonard went back. And the rest of us went to Paragon’s Coffee Bean for some drinks and to discuss our trip to Melaka! This is gonna be exciting! Because we have NEVER go for a trip outside Singapore with so many people! So we got Josephine, Jesslin (pending), Amy, Alicia, Peili, Saran, Yeo Han, Xiang, Valerie, and me! Currently we got 2 cars (Josephine‘s and Peili‘s), so their boyfriends will be going too. So the tentative date for OUR Melaka trip will be 4th August 2010. Not sure if the rest of the people are as excited as me. πŸ™‚

After the coffee break, I joined Saran and Xiang for some beer at Ice Cold Beer. It’s my first time there and enjoyed the beer (although I can’t finish) and the chicken wings. =] We left the place at about 2a.m because Xiang gonna wake up early for the Pulau Ubin trip.
