We have decided on our ROM date! And that will be……

06.06.2010!

Yeah! Wanted to choose 10.10.2010. But..

Dear dear say it’s TOO LONG! LOL. Plus, I think I will be busy doing my assignment (according to the schedule that was given by the school), so we decided to move it FORWARD! Yes, I know he can’t wait to marry me lah. LOL. Nonetheless, I am done settling on the

– Make up artist (Shine, my colleague. She’s doing make up lessons as well.)
– Photograhper (Marcus, my sec sch friend. He’s a PROFESSIONAL!)

And now, I am going to source for videographer. And most importantly… THE VENUE! Wanted to settle on the F.C, but the food menu, I don’t quite like it. LOL. Maybe we will meet up with the person and see if he can do any changes. LOL.

And it’s time to sleep now. Gd night people. And, I AM REALLY EXCITED! Hehe. And thanks for your well wishes. I hope I can plan a memorable ROM for me, my husband and everyone who will be invited. =]

P.S: If you have any recommendation for videographer, please kindly leave down a msg so I can contact you! Thanks!

hit-and-run

You know there is this guy who’s making everyone fuming with anger lately. And needless to say, you will know who by showing you the picture.

From Drop Box

YES! THIS MAN, DR. IONESCU. An EX Romania Diplomat.

It’s really angry to read news everyday that this guy has not been COMING BACK to Singapore for the hit and run car accident which happens in December 2009. You know, it’s very bad to hit-and-run after you hit someone and what’s more is HE HIT TWO (killed one and injure 2) loh! WhaTheFish right? It’s really unfair for the family members of the victim to accept the fact that the son was already dead and the government is helpless because they couldn’t get this ‘criminal’ back!

Seriously, who in the world will want to steal a EMBASSY CAR when everyone, at one look, knows it’s an EMBASSY CAR. Furthermore, who in the right mind will DUPLICATE a car key and place in somewhere else (so others could take it?). And if the reports are true about the 3keys for the Audi A6, how would a car theif even bother to sell if he knows he can’t drive it away? Simply ridiculous. And the result he said he’s not coming back was because he’s ILL. Then I hope he die FAST, or faster. It’s so horrible.

There is a chinese saying, 君子犯法与庶民同罪 (means, even Emperor sins, he will get the punishment of a commoner).

Quote from STOMP:
When lawyer Subhas Anandan, who is acting for Mr Tong’s family, asked why the former diplomat was not told that vehicles involved in accidents are usually impounded, SSI Zainuddin said it was because it was “an embassy car”.

According to the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, the property of a diplomatic agent enjoys inviolability.

FURIOUS!! And the poor government can’t do anything to ‘INVITE’ him back. HORRIBLE ARSEHOLE! zzzz

Boon Lay MRT.

I WANNA COMPLAIN!!!!

I wanna complain about the LOUSY system that the MRT station at Boon Lay has. And I know I have been complaining EVERY SINGLE time I am here to my Dearest. But well, it’s really so lousy and I hope they will do something soon for the long run.

You know ever since the opening of the new Boon Lay interchange, I dun think it’s making my journey a pleasant one. It’s supposed to be bring convenience to us. But I don’t feel so. The route of 242 changed and now, we have to take a longer route in order for us to go to Boon Lay. The walking space in the interchange is too narrow, and people are walking really slow in front of you when some of us are actually rushing for time. The waiting time for the train is really long. For peak hour, we have to wait for up to 4 minutes and usually when the trainer gets to J.E, the poor commuters will be unable to board the train. And the structure of the MRT station is really poor. Let me show you WHY.

From Drop Box

This is what I have drawn based on my memories of the MRT station. Red indicating commuters who exiting Boon Lay. Blue indicating commuters entering the MRT station.

So you know in the morning not much people alighting from Boon Lay MRT Station, so it’s still not as bad. But for evening time, the human traffic is really bad! Looking at the EXIT ONLY, it’s normally JAM very badly because everyone is trying to cut each other’s queue to GET OUT. It’s so irritating can? Everyone is heading towards the EXIT ONLY because who in the world will walk one BIG ROUND to JP/Boon Lay interchange when there is a shorter way?

From Drop Box

This is how I feel it should be since the new Boon Lay interchange is on the other side. They have been building new MRT lines and they are not doing anything for this, or are they trying to say that they only have money to build MORE MRT STATIONS/LINES and no money for MORE gantry in order to facilites the commuters who spend so much money on travelling everyday?? And every single time I took the train to Boon Lay, it only makes me blood boils. Aunties always cutting my QUEUE. SO HORRIBLE!!

Selling off my Asus N10J Netbook

To my dearest friends/readers out there, this is actually my first time selling items here online, and hopefully I can get some support because I desperately need to get rid of the netbook in order to buy a new notebook for my work, future school projects (oh, I am starting school in April 10! So excited!!) and for some personal work that we are in the midst of planning.

This is what I am going to sell for SGD$700. It’s a good deal considering I still have 4 more years of warranty (2 years from Asus and extended 3 years warranty from Harvey Norman), and the LG DVD writer still look as new. And of course, I do have the original package for both the netbook and DVD writer. And of course, I do have the receipt with me. So fear not!

Oh yes, it comes with the original ASUS netbook bag as well. Not to worry, the battery for the netbook will be able to last you for about 2-3 hrs depending on your usage. I promise that the netbook has little or no scratches on it which looks as good as new! Please feel free to drop me an email at wind_cloudz@hotmail.com for more information and I have posted it on eBay.com.sg as well. And of course, checking of the netbook is totally fine with me! Hopefully I can sell it off soon before the IT show in March 11th-14th. Thanks pals!

Happy Chinese New Year!

Happy Chinese New Year everyone! Wow, it’s been ages since I last updated my blog. And I know I have not post up any pictures I took in Macau. I promise, I will do it soon. 😉 It’s been 4 days of Chinese New Year and I am sure everyone is busy travelling around Singapore to visit your relatives and friends. This year, I travelled the most. And, this is the LEAST pictures I took this whole year! In fact, I can even use my fingers to count the number of pictures I took during the CNY period. Ha!!

On CNYE, I went to Dearest‘s house for reunion dinner and after that we went to Alan‘s new flat in Clementi. Played mahjong till almost 3a.m and head back to my own house because I cannot stay over at Dearest‘s house on CNYE. Ah ma said because I am not married. I also find it so weird to stay over at Dearest‘s house because I am not married and since it’s EVE, so I should stay at home. I mean, go back to my own house and sleep.

From Drop Box

And it’s really tiring because, I dragged myself to wake up and get prepared while Dearest make his way to my house on the first day of CNY. He came over to my house to bai nian to my parents and ah ma. And because this year CNY clashes with Valentine’s Day, I received a bouquet of flowers from Dearest! I am a happy girl now! After awhile, we head to his mother’s side ah ma’s house which is at Ang Mo Kio. We had our super late lunch at JP and by the time we reached his ah ma’s house was already almost 17:30hrs. We had a few games of Ban Luck (Blackjack) before dinner, and then we have to take a cab down to Bedok to my relative’s house. And played a few games of Ban Luck (Blackjack) there as well. We were making so much noise there! And after that, Gavin jio us out for movie, so me and Dearest head down to TBP in my uncle’s car. After trying to reach Gavin a few times later, we were told that he has to cancel it because Erica is feeling tired. And such last minute cancelation is causing us inconvenience because I could have taken my dad’s car home instead! So Dearest sent me home and by the time he reached home was about 12mn. Poor Dearest. =[ Because I reached home earlier than him, so I went to bed around 1a.m because I have to go to his house to bai nian because it was too late for me to do so on the first day.

Day 2, I woke up as early as 9plus a.m to prepare and reach Dearest house before 12noon (hopefully). But because just as I was about to go out, some of my relatives came to my house. Have to entertain them a little before heading out. I was supposed to give Dearest a call when I wake up, but I decided that he deserve to have a longer sleep.. so I only give him a ring when I was at Lavender. Some time after I reached his house, his relatives came over to bai nian as well.. so his house is filled with many people! Was supposed to go Jiabao‘s house for dinner with the rest of the YCSS people but I am summon back home to have dinner with my family and mahjong after dinner. So by the time we finish the mahjong was about 11plus p.m. And after nuahing, we decided to head to Alan‘s house for some supper. And then we head back to Dearest’s house.

From Drop Box

Day 3, stepping out of Dearest‘s room really shocks me because there was so many people outside. I quickly walk towards the bath room and take my shower, went back to the room and put on my make up and went out again to bai nian with the rest of the people after Dearest intro them to me. Or intro me to them? Whichever comes first. After that, we went to Parkway for lunch and a little shopping at Cotton On. I bought a top and 2 skirts with Dearest subsidice me! WOoohooooO! So happy. After lunch, we head to his friend’s house. Played mahjong as well, and then head to M.S for movie (14 Blades). Because we were late, so we missed the front part of the movie, and I am keep my fingers cross that we didn’t really miss out much. After movie, we head back to the coffeeshop near to Dearest‘s house for dinner and after chatting.. we finally head back home to rest! What a busy busy day for us!

And a picture my little blue blues~

I AM BACK!

I AM BACK!

2 days ago actually. And you can’t imagine (or maybe you can) how tired I am right now. Was unable to take a half day leave on Wednesday to rest at home because we are short of staffs. So I actually concussed when I reached Dearest’s house after work on Wednesday (was supposed to go drag my luggage home and bring Xiao Xiao back to my sister. And then I only went back home yesterday. I bought

– A big bag for Mama (as per requested) and a sweater for my ah ma (she request me to buy),

– A red Disneyland polo shirt (which I told him to wear during CNY. LOLS) for my Daddy,

– A white Disneyland Polo shirt for my Elder brother,

– A pair of mickey and minnie mouse keychain for my younger brother,

– A purple pouch for my younger sister,

– A pair of Mickey and Minnie soft toy (which she requested because she wants it on her workdesk) for my sister and brother-in-law,

– A baby minnie (which is bigger than the mickey and minnie I bought for my sister! HAHA) for Alyssa and last but not least,

– A bag from Naraya for my ah ma and a sweater for my aunt (seriously, I don’t understand why she kept asking me to get a sweater for my aunt. It’s not as if my aunt is childless. In fact, she has 2 sons and 2 daughter-in-laws.)

WOW! It seems like I bought so much things. But none of the above is for me. Let’s see what did I buy for myself,

– 2 spat top from Cotton On

– 3 shawls (2 white, 1 orange)

– 1 Stitch iPhone cover

– 1 china brand iPhone portable charger (which don’t seems like working. lol)

– 2 jacket (which one of it was paid by Dearest!)

– 1 Pinky bag

– 1 pouch

– a lot products from Disneyland (Stitch soft toy, Stitch pen, Stitch hair clip, Mickey mouse hat hair clip, a Mickey mouse manget, 2 small boxes with Mickey mouse prints)

LOL~~ But I managed to squeeze everything into the luggage. And poor Dearest have to carry my luggage for me. The whole trip is pretty ok, just that we are always rushing for time. Too many places to visit already! Next time, we will just go hong kong because I do not have any business in Macau. =]

I am really too tired to do any collage for the thousand pictures I took during the trip. I will make up for it ok? Ciaos!

Acceptance Letter

YAY!! I finally got the acceptance letter from UCD! Was browsing thru my email when I woke up this morning, and saw that they have accepted me! And now, I have settle with the study loan. Dearest will accompany me to source for a better bank rate. =] I am actually thinking of POSB. But the rates they are offering is at least 5%. RHB bank are offering 4.68% for Kaplan students. Sigh. What a decision to make huh? So it’s not just about talking and no actions babe. lol. Really excited and nervous at the same time though. =| And I really think I need to complete my driving soon. It’s a waste of money to retake my FTT because I will have to go thru the evaluation, and whatever you can think of. Sigh.

From Drop Box

Good luck to me.

AND AND AND!! 2 more days, and I am out of SINGAPORE! =]

Kerine’s birthday. Shoppppin!

I know it took me really long to update my blog. Since I am always at bf’s house during the weekends.

Met up with Peili for her birthday because I did not turn up the previous Saturday (I was too tired!). Vanessa, Valerie and Evelyn came along too. And it’s been a long time since I went out with them. And the last time I saw Vanessa was quite some time back. I think that was more than a year ago. When I was still with Nicholas, I think. Anyways, its always cool to catch up with the girls. And I hope we will meet up soon. =]

Celebrated Uncle Jeremy‘s birthday in the office last Wednesday! And because Arene, Lawrence and Daing were in a meeting, so they couldn’t join in the celebration. And HLH said I shouldn’t be going around asking people to fill up the birthday card because it’s not within my job scope. Duh. Nonetheless, we had fun!

Dye my hair during the last weekend. Was walking around chinatown trying to get a luggage for myself. And I saw this bubble dye (which was a new product shown on tv), so I decided to buy one and try. And the outcome is pretty ok.

From Drop Box

And I FINALLY found the luggage! Which we bought it at $69. Dear dear say he would pay half for me. Muacks!

And shopping means.. the urge to buy more things… As we walk in OG, I saw this super soft blanket.. and was tempted to buy.. and with dear dear looking at me, I have to think twice and FINALLY dear dear gave me the green light to buy. And I bought 2! One for dear dear‘s home, and one for myself. Actually, both are for me. HAHA

Can u imagine my weekend damage?? And now, I am waiting patiently for our Macau (H.K) trip this coming Thursday. And more pictures to come! Muahahahaha!

Ettusais

As you guys know that my nose has been very dry for these past few years and this problem really bugs me. Sometimes I wondered how do I get rid of such problem because it’s really ugly to see your nose cracking under the make up. And now, I have my own solution! I was consulting one of the girls at Ettusais (Wisma) about the dry nose issue. And what she advise me was, put some toner on the cotton pad, and den leave it on the nose for approximately 15 minutes, after that complete it with the moisturiser. And it works! Amazing isn’t it?

Currently I am using the moisture one instead of the one you see in this picture because there is two version.

From Drop Box

After leaving the cotton pad with some toner on my nose as a nose mask for 15 minutes, it’s almost complete. In order to fight the dry-ness, I am using the moisturer. And it really moisturize your dry face! Pretty good that I wanna share with anyone who has the same problem as me. BUT, it’s different for everyone. So what’s suitable for me, doesn’t mean it suits you. But if you never try, you won’t know. =]
