I PASSED MY TP~~

(TP = Traffic Police test) It’s a test that you have to go through before you can drive officially in Singapore.

Yes, I can officially drive. I will just wait for my license which will be send to my house in a month’s time. =D

I called my Dearest, my mama and papa immediately; to inform them the good news.

I thought I will fail because the tester is so stern when he was talking to me. And when he show me the results, I was over moon already! I did pretty well in the circuit and was feeling so nervous when I drove out of the driving center… and I can feel, from the beginning of the test, that my heart almost pop out. =X

I was telling Gina and Celest that I might fail my TP because I think I did quite badly, and I swear I can do well if I am not that super nervous. Hahaha!!

However, nothing is better than passing the TP. =D

Btw, it’s my second attempt. Hahaha.

NO MORE TRIPS TO UBI!

So we went to have sushi @ ichiban boshi. So happy~

And I got new stitch again! Thanks to Dearest! Wahahahhaa. REally spoiling me with all these~ Buy some more, I can’t see any empty space on my bed already. =D

We went to NEX shopping center yesterday. It’s the new neighborhood shopping center at Serangoon. I must say it’s really near Dearest’s house. It’s just 12 minutes by taking circle line. And I must say, the shopping center is so much bigger than JP! And the people there is unlimited flow. So crowded.

See, the crowded is so much!! No much walking space. And the good thing is, they have Ettusai there. LOL~

New Chou Chou necklace. Aiyah, basically, I just hang Chou Chou there. Hahaha.

There is a Mickey shop there, so… Dearest bought me a Stitch head and… a storage box which you can sit. BUT~ Dearest cannot sit on it.. I scare it will break into pieces. LOL~

Happy birthday to me!

And as I am typing this post, my birthday is already over! I had an enjoyable birthday this year!

This year, nothing special! Just went out with Dearest after my work. We went to Marina Square for a walk, trying our luck at the Prize Stage, and no luck to get any stitch. 😦 After walking around, we took MRT to Tanjong Pagar, M Hotel, for our buffet dinner!

Reaching M Hotel, and we started eating our food! Before reaching there, Dearest took me to the hotel for the buffet, he told me that what is ‘special’ about this buffet is, they provide a standard main course. When we reached there, we realized there isn’t much varieties. But, I enjoyed myself very much. 🙂 Thanks Dearest for everything! I am sure this birthday celebration cost him a lot of money. I’m not just talking about dinner but everything that he did for me.

That’s so sweet of him to get me a ‘flower’! That’s really nice! And I intend to bring it to the office so I can see it from Monday to Friday, sometimes even Saturday! Wahahahahaha. Love it so much. 🙂 *muacks*

Of course, I went for a little shopping. I bought some accessories for the D&D! Won’t reveal how much! Wahahaha~ And and and~ I bought my FIRST COACH bag! Didn’t really wanna get it because it’s really expensive, but Dearest say I should get it because it’s really nice! And what’s important……….. he sponsor half of the amount! HAhahaha! Feel the heartache after buying the bag, but I really like it so much! Thanks Dearest!

Celebrated my actual birthday at my house today! And Alyssa is really cute, I must say. 😀 She was trying out her parent’s shoes. While mama was preparing steamboat, me and my sister was watching a new Korean drama.

Dearest is so nice! He bought me a birthday present, Gucci shades that is. I have been wanting to get a shade for a long time, and nice ones… always so expensive. So really thankful that Dearest bought it for me. Hehe. =]

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Finally! The long-awaited Harry Potter movie for the last book, the Deathly Hollows. I have booked the tickets for at least more than a week and I finally catch it on the big screen yesterday! Was feeling excited and looking forward to the movie (since it’s been a while since I watch a movie in the cinema).

One word: AWESOME!

It’s almost like the book! When I was watching movie, I even have the illusion that I have watch it before it was shown on the screen! Maybe that was because I read all the 7 books. I can vaguely remember the storylines in book 7. There are funny moments, where almost everyone took the polyjuice potion and turn into Harry Potter. Can you just imagine ‘Potter’ was once a woman? Funny. Was laughing quite loudly in the cinema. 😛 Can’t control myself. Poor Dobby, the house elf (who was freed by Harry Potter in book 6) died. He’s so adorable, how can one bear such adorable thing to die. But, the story must go on, and Dobby must die.

You know what I did before watching this Deathly Hollows movie? I watched the rest of the Harry Potter movies from book 1 (Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s stone) to book 6 (HarryPotter and the Half Blood Prince)! Crazy isn’t it? I’m a great Potter fan! But, I don’t fancy Twilight. I read about news people are comparing Harry Potter to Twilight, I mean, THEY ARE TOTALLY DIFFERENT you noobs! I would prefer to watch magic action packed movie than vampire love stories (Psst: I love vampire movies, just.. no interest in Twilight. I think that guy’s face is too pale? I scare he might just faint. I like to watch Buffy the vampire slayer! That’s one hell good show that you must watch. Slayers. Does it excites you? LOL~).

Anyways, back to Potter movie. When I was watching the movie and I recalled Dumbledore has died, it saddens me. Do I sound emo here? Why? Because he’s the oldest, and cleverest among all witches and wizards. Think about it, it’s another scarifice to Potter’s success! And Hermione is really getting prettier! And this time, she cut her hair short. Real short. And, I think Ron, has got a BIG mouth. Hahaha, pardon me for saying this. But, you can’t deny it’s true! Professor Snape, he’s the real spy. What’s Andy Lau and Tony Leung? Not gonna reveal more, otherwise it will just spoil the part 2 movie (which is showing in July 2011!!)!

Deathly Hollows are the 3 items:

1) Elder wand (which is in Dumbledore’s possession but since he died, Voldemort took it, from his grave that is),

2) Invisible cloak (owned by Harry Potter) and

3) Resurrection stone which can make the dead alive again (who owns it?).

For those who doesn’t read Harry Potter story (or even catch it’s previous movies), I’m not surprise if you don’t find it nice.

My dear colleagues celebrated my birthday in advance in the office with a stitch cake! That’s so sweet and nice of them! =] Thank you very much!

After work, I head down to P.S to meet Celest and Uncle Jeremy and his gf for dinner first before the movie at 21:45hrs. So we went to TCC for our dinner (because there is NO queue and I got the discount card)

I missed the potato wedges with melted cheese dip. It reminds me of the TCC days where we always buy this and share among ourselves, and sometimes we even ‘force’ Tim to buy and ‘reward’ us for our good effort! LOL~ Those were the days. Happy times. And it also reminds me of a very good gf, whom we no longer talk. I remembered bumping into her once at Tiong Baruh, we merely exchanged 3 or 4 sentences before going our own ways. That’s so sad. Even when I saw her news feed in FB, I wondered to myself “what happened?”. For this, I don’t think I will ever know. 😦

Amy and I had the same dish! And it’s really spicy (although the menu puts 3 chilli for the spiciness.)! And I had my lovely mango tea freeze. Everything is so nice.

Celest and Uncle Jeremy had the same dish! 😀 Happily chatting in TCC. Was opening my present until I forgot to intro Celest to Uncle Jeremy. LOL.

TADA! My big head scrump. Which I re-named it as big head Chou (ugly in Chinese). They are the Chou Chou’s family! Thus, all name must have a Chou.

And I got a Stitch pencil. How sweet. Now I love Celest deep deep liao! And when the bf saw it, he say “jia lat, getting more and more liao”. LOL~ That’s the way uh huh uh huh~ I like it uh huh uh huh~ Woohooo!~

3M Acne Patch

3M Acne Patch.

I was first introducted by Arene (my colleague) when I was complaining about my acnes. Quite irritating isn’t it. So I decided to give it a try. It turns out not too bad! It was further proven by some of my friends who are using it as well. The goodness of this patch is, it stays on your skin until you peel it off! It acts a protective layer to prevent your acne from getting contact with the dirts, or whatsoever.

Initially, I only used it at home because I thought it would be embarrassing to use it outside as well! But, one of my friend, Josephine puts it on when she’s out too! So, I hack care and use it under my make up too. And guess what? The acnes go away faster!

On Thursday, I realised there is ONE acne on my arm (big and filled with pus. YUCKS) and that’s so unusual lah. So, I put on the acne patch and now, it’s healing already! No reddness, no pus. The good thing about it is, it will help to suck out the pus from the acne.

And the plus point is, the Acne patch comes with different shapes and sizes! I bought the Acne fun pack, it comes with heart shapes and star shapes. So when I had it on my face, people will ask me what are those shapes ‘stickers’ for.

It’s awesome! Try it, else you won’t know its awesomeness!

Selamant Hari Raya Haji!

Selamant Hari Raya Haji! It’s public holiday so we don’t have to work! Happy isn’t it? So I went to shop for my D&D dress. After walking half a day, I bought one dress at Valerie @ Parkway Parade Shopping Center. The dress is in silver and black color. I took the picture in changing room and the light is orange color, thus there is a little color distortion.

And I bought some nail polish from Etude House. Got some freebies from there as well. Got 2 mask, 2 free toner for whitening and a free pen.

And, I really don’t wanna go shopping with a guy! =[

Over the weekends

Saturday, met up with Emily and Sue for dinner. It’s been a long time since I last met them up. I haven’t seen Emily for 3 years and Sue for 2 years. That’s pretty long huh? So we head down to where Sue’s currently working.. and I think we ordered quite a bit of food because Sue has got $75 voucher from her work place. So, dinner was free! Thanks Sue~! It’s been a long time since I sat down with the girls and talk, chatting about the past. Now Emily even owns a car, with LONG hair~! Things changed. But, they say I didn’t change a bit. For example, I need to get fat or something.

Although it was a fairly short meet up because of the traffic jam that made me waited for more than an hour, it’s still worth meeting up with the rest. Love catching up with the ladies, and I’m sure the next time round when we meet up, it will be a longer meet up. =]

Went shopping on Sunday with Dearest, because I wanted to get a dress and heels for my company D&D. Haven’t saw anything that I like for the little dress I want to wear for my D&D! 😦 Shall go and shop for it on Wednesday! Hopefully I can get it on Wed. Otherwise I have to source for one dress on the weekends!! Gosh, time is really running out!

And this is my heels. Glitz and Glamor. But… no blings blings! I wanna look chio chio (pretty) that very day!

I was thinking if I wanna buy some crystal and stick it the ribbons on the heels. Should I? Though decision.

I have been watching Harry Potter DVDs these days. Cool isn’t it? I even dream about it when I was sleeping. LOL. And I really can’t wait to watch Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows on Friday!

I think it’s been a long time since I update my blog seriously.

Meet up with Celest for dinner before our ‘last’ paper for the term. Dinner was good. Went to Sakae Sushi for dinner, and I must say.. it’s a waste of money to go there! Perhaps, I have tried better Japanese food, that’s why I think it’s not nice anymore! Whatever it is, the last paper (Cross Cultural Management), is a flop, and I foresee myself retaking the paper. No faith in this paper. And, I keep telling myself I must work hard for the rest of the term. After this last paper, it’s exactly a year to the end of the course! Shall do my best. Even if I can’t get super good grades like Dearest, I must at least pass all modules and get the certificate! 🙂

Went to school on Monday to collect my Management Research Project (MRP) proposal that I did in the previous term. Met up with Celest to get the textbooks for the new term. And it is Pre Course Assignment (PCA) again! This term is a little tough, and more discipline is need. Only need to go for class for a module, Managing Change, and the rest is just doing ASSIGNMENTS. Very well. Dinner at Domino, not too bad. Just that I shouldn’t order the salmon and mushroom pasta because it’s CREAMY, but.. I love to love mushrooms. Chou Chou have a fair share of the pasta too! Hahaha.

This a season to be jolly, la la la la~ Christmas is coming. So happy! Can’t wait for Christmas to come. And guess what?

THEIR baby was born on the 4th November (if I remembered clearly). And I’m not mentioning the names here, because I don’t want to. Anyways, THEY are inviting US to their baby shower on the 25th December. Initially, I thought it would be nice for us to go together, on a second thought.. I think it would be better for Dearest to go by himself; with his friends. I keep having those bad thoughts in my mind, and things that happened 2 months ago, are still printed in the back of my mind. Just couldn’t get it out of my mind. Very bad I know. What else can I do? I don’t think I can communicate with them, at all. I think it’s weird not seeing them for more than 3 months and I’m going to attend their baby shower. I would love to go, but if things in the past did not happen. I think I have the right to guard myself from such people. Right? I love to play with babies. But, how often do I have a chance to play with their babies? I think they hates me. So, we have arrange in a way, Dearest will go for the baby shower, and I will go out with my friend. Enough of this. I shall not dread on this.

Anyways, me and Celest went to Ion and bought her guest book for her 21st birthday! Although it’s expensive, I think it’s all worth it! I’m thrilled about this up coming birthday! Gina and I will be helping out. =]

I was bored one day, so I decorated Chou Chou. =]

Met up with Gina yesterday! Was supposed to go for some shopping trip, but by the time we met, have our dinner and walk around.. the shops are almost closed. Oh well.. but we had a fun time talking! And thanks to Gina for getting me this Labbit Chou as my birthday present. So nice of her. =]

We went to Siam Kitchen to have our dinner. And honestly, I still prefer ThaiExpress. 🙂 After that we went to take a walk in Bugis and then head back home. I know we are going for shopping soon. =]

Happy girl I am, I got myself a laptop table so I can use my laptop on the bed. And using it on the bed is definitely better than using the laptop on the desk. 😛

A little pricey I must say. It cost me $62.90! But, it’s really worth the price. It has got a fan for the laptop, 4 USB ports on the side. LED light during the night time and some storage place. And the mouse pad for the mouse, is really good! Not gonna regret buying this at all! Am I not a happy girl!

What makes me happy is, I have a total of 6 Harry Potter movies to watch before next watching the 7th book next week in Cinema. And I am just done with Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone! Time to go to bed after shower. The doctor says my eyes are little swollen and a little dry. Took the medicine that he gave me, it’s working well! 🙂

Kinda sad, because I have to stop doing my BS for awhile. But be sure, I will be right back! 😀

On 16th Oct, we celebrated my Papa’s birthday at JP. Even though it’s my papa’s birthday, I took so much pictures of Alyssa! Hahaha

On the 17th Oct, celebrated Michelle‘s birthday. This is the first time we attended a McDonald’s party! =]

Met up with Celest for a last minute dinner before our exam. =]

23rd Oct, celebrated Alyssa’s 2nd birthday! Bought her a Doraemon bag as her present. =]

Celebration after my last paper! =] Went to have Tampopo for our dinner, and we went to have our hair cut also! =]

Life is short.

Not talking about some weird philosophy, but, life is short.

Be it human or animal. Life is short.

Dearest received news from Alan that he might have to make some decisions; whether to put Coco (his and Christine‘s) beloved dog to sleep. Reason? The vet told them that the cancerous cells (she was diagnosed with breast cancer, went through 2 operations) has spread to her intestines, and her livers are not function properly; there isn’t much things that she can do for her, except to put her to sleep to relieve her from the pain and sufferings.

Whether it’s human or just a dog, we can’t tell how much pain they are suffering because, we are not them. We show our sympathy towards them, we know they are brave enough to go thru the necessary therapy to keep themselves alive, but how much do we know about their pain? All we know is, when they start to show uncomfortable expressions, it means that they might be in pain. Then we start to feel for them. How about those people who are in the final stage of the cancer and still have to go through the necessary therapy, to keep themselves alive. Why would they wanna go through such sufferings? Because they do not want to see their love ones cry for them. Reality is still reality. We have to face the fact that they will leave us someday, maybe not now.. but someday. God has a plan for each and single one of us. Today you see a healthy man, a few months later, the same person is lying on the bed unable to get up. Illness. It definitely caught us off guard.

We will not dwell in sadness, we will make use the rest of our time to make sure everyone around feels loved and treasured by us. I treasured every single one of my friends. Please know that some of my actions are unintentional. If I have caused any hurt towards you, I’m really sorry. Really sorry.
